Did you get a photo of the front of the car?

Aye, missing a fog light blank and all. :D

How much of that is a BMW Mat?

Don't think they had any real involvement, most parts of it are from a Civic. :p

Done 140 miles in it today, did the job and used less than £15 of fuel from what I can gather - 450 miles to £40.

Surley the money you have piled into the rovers you keep buying and putting money into would have bought a bit better car by now?!

once you go rover you never go non rover..

You know, it's surprising the amount of people who have a nice Rover Turbo, sell it, only to come back looking for another a few years later.

I've been saying for years that I want a classic Scoob but by the time I'm in a position where I can afford one, the price of fuel will make it pointless to do so.

Nevermind, my Rover (with a proper engine) does me just fine. And I don't seem to have anywhere near the same problems that Mat seems to with his cars. Mat, you need to look after them better! Stop giving them an even worse image! :p

"I've bought this as a cheap runabout to save money"

*spends countless hours bodging the car and working on it most weekends then it inexplicably dies*

"HAI GUYS I HAVE ANOTHER ROVER!"

Rinse and repeat :p

Tbh Rob, how many BMWs have you had now? And how many weekends have you spent fixing them? :p

But I know mine are/were sheds and I don't claim them to be anything but. ;)

Currently ones are just some fun/something to do at weekends (Devon is BORING), not a "sensible" daily...I have the trusty reliable Mondeo for that. :p
