MBP 15" retina 3-4 weeks!!

Steven - did you order the same spec as Izi? They'll be batch building and alternating the spec of each batch.

Actually yes, if you know ASP.NET and C# :) (not mac related :P)

C#, yes - ASP.NET? *spit* web work. yuck!

Haha, the pain of building web apps. :)

We are starting Android and iPhone development now. More headaches, yay!

I love how this thread is turning into a jobs site as everyone is whoring out their skills to the chap who could afford to buy 2 MBPr.

I love OCUK.

I didn't pay for them, the business did. Completely different :P

People are whoring themselves out for the guilt of spending £2k+ on a laptop! :)

As tempted as I am, I think I'm going to wait until Mountain Lion is released before deciding whether to buy one. The guys from work who went to WWDC reported seeing lag but said that Mountain Lion should resolve most of the issues.

I don't want to be dropping £2,500 if it's going to be anything less than perfect. I'd rather wait it out until the next generation is out.

Mine is coming from China... someone said Netherlands earlier. It also says 'scheduled 29th' not the 3rd. Ooo, I'd be like a child at Christmas if I can get it before the weekend.

There is no lag with the update which was pushed out shortly after release.

still within the return window ;)

mine says :18 Jul, 2012 - 24 Jul, 2012 / ordered on the 19th.

when ever i look at the order ( every day ) my eyes instantly jump to ' dispatched ' and then I realise, then my heart sinks

This is exactly why I canned my order and started again, despite the extra waiting time.

same!

+1

Did this just today, was rather upset when i read it again.

StevenG

I know the pain.

Dispatched: 3 - 4 Weeks Delivers 23 Jul, 2012 - 27 Jul, 2012 :(

I thought it was ok on Lion but I've gone over to ML and it is a lot smoother on a lot of pages, not sure if it is something built into safari or a bug fix.
