Steven - did you order the same spec as Izi? They'll be batch building and alternating the spec of each batch.

C#, yes - ASP.NET? *spit* web work. yuck!

I love how this thread is turning into a jobs site as everyone is whoring out their skills to the chap who could afford to buy 2 MBPr.
I love OCUK.

I didn't pay for them, the business did. Completely different
People are whoring themselves out for the guilt of spending £2k+ on a laptop!![]()

As tempted as I am, I think I'm going to wait until Mountain Lion is released before deciding whether to buy one. The guys from work who went to WWDC reported seeing lag but said that Mountain Lion should resolve most of the issues.
I don't want to be dropping £2,500 if it's going to be anything less than perfect. I'd rather wait it out until the next generation is out.
still within the return window
mine says :18 Jul, 2012 - 24 Jul, 2012 / ordered on the 19th.
when ever i look at the order ( every day ) my eyes instantly jump to ' dispatched ' and then I realise, then my heart sinks
This is exactly why I canned my order and started again, despite the extra waiting time.
same!
+1
Did this just today, was rather upset when i read it again.

There is no lag with the update which was pushed out shortly after release.
That's not what I'm hearing from the people at work. Maybe it's less noticeable for most users but it hasn't gone away.
Can you describe the lag?
