Interesting. I have pretty poor res in Inferno so might sacrifice a chunk of my hp and try and stack some cheapish res. I'm always loathe to invest in stats that don't give me big +green numbers when I equip them :p

I know exactly how you feel, the DPS/HP decrease is killer :(

I was at 100k+ dps at one point in the last couple weeks! (with ss)

Ah yey! never having a decent drop.
Got this.

Should I teach it or sell it? :/

oh so your the one that's buying stuff.
il happily sell to people like you all day - no way will I spend a single penny on items though
but horses for courses (not a dig btw)

Didn't take it as a dig at all mate, I don't mind putting money in to a game, League of Legends I've spent just shy of £1,000 on that and that is just on skins and champs, not going to that level on this though :P

I got my first item drop in a long time that was better than my item bought from aH. It was only a quiver. I am still enjoying the game. I think this inferno has added a realy interesting dynamic to the game, it is ridiculous difficult and the items are difficult to come by so it requires a lot of effort. I have to give this game a 10/10 overall. Been a long time since i bought a game and a long time since i have played a game for so long and still enjoy it. We still have pvp to come out and i am still yet to sell any items on RMAH. I bought some better bows last night on ah for the low buyin price. I bought one for 10k and another for 3700 and i got another one on for 18k. Probably resell of 100k :D

Has anyone had any weapons with the damage on elite attribute. I was doing some searching and there was smoe ok items with high crit and this stat and wondering how much of difference that dmg on elites made.

Was looking at those items myself but they seem to be 3-5% extra damage not sure how much difference it would really make?

With D3 I think the key for me is the fact I haven't played it all day, every day since release, mainly because I have been out and about over the weekends and in the evenings I have only had a few hours to throw at it hence I am still really enjoying it and look forward to having a few hours to play it, either solo (WD) or with my mate (Barb) or with a group of 4 of us (DH).

As a result I can certainly see myself playing this for quite some time, however I am aware that I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing Inferno yet so my opinion may very well change but I hope it doesn't.

Playing the game Vanilla, as it were (no AH at all) I really look forward to the drops that I get, even though the majority of the time they are toilet, but then that was always the fun part of D2 for me. I never managed to complete a full set on D2, nor did I find any really good dark yellow items, however that didn't ruin the game for me at all.

I can see the viewpoint of people saying that because of the skill changing side of things they are less likely to play through the game again with a new character of the same class, however I think I probably would, and have that one as a party character where 2-4 of us create them all at the same time and play through at the same time. I would say that would force us to use skills different to what we would use in solo mode.

All just my opinion, of course.

TL;DR I still love D3 :)

We had 4 2h barbs running through Inferno act 3 yesterday, was a lot of fun, way more interesting tham doing it solo :D

Will see if I can fraps it and post on the youtubes at some point.
