I've seen this film and its very strange, the theater scene is very very strange. Probably give that 1/10.

adventure movie
I'm not going in expecting an Alien prequel as I already know it's at least 2 further films away from being that. I'm going in for the visual awe and the early story side of things to the saga!

Great film, worth a watch.
Even if the plot isn't full of holes, the characters are still idiots and the story is just Alien re-hashed.
I second that, great film. Flying Daggers is better, but Hero is still great, IMO.

American History X 8/10 intriguing film although I'd have preferred an extra 10-15 min at the end to see which way the character decided to go after all he'd been through.

Abe Lincoln, Killer of the Vampires. Looked great, took itself far to seriously. I understand the idea of being serious, but this was far too serious, given that the basic idea was very silly. And what is is with hot female vampires?

I noticed that Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, is directed by Timur Bekmambetov. He also directed Wanted, which I thought was a load of garbage. Wanted received quite a lot of positive reviews. Given how many poor reviews there have been for this film, I'm guessing it's going to be even worse.
We've just watched A Dangerous Method. The story was a bit hard to follow at times and Kiera Knightley's Russian accent was absolutely bloody awful. The best scenes were those with just Fassbender and Mortensen talking to each other.
Zack Snyder's Dawn Of The Dead - 10/10
This is such a well made, powerful yet discredited movie.
They just hit the nail on the head and got it right. It's awesomeness was single handedly responsible for kick starting the zombie industry back into existence. Directly giving birth to Shaun Of The Dead, Left4Dead, and so many more phenomenal zombie goodies.
