from the Bf3 forums ;-

STEP 1:

Go to Avast -> Real Time Shields -> File System Shield -> Expert Settings -> Exclusions and add the following progams:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\BF3\pb\PnkBstrA.exe
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\BF3\pb\PnkBstrB.exe
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\PnkBstrB.xtr
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\PnkBstrB.ex0
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\PnkBstrB.exe
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\PnkBstrA.exe


STEP 2:

Go to Avast -> Maintenance -> Virus Chest and delete the Punkbuster files from the list

I think your just meant to add the lines into Avast.

try copying the lines into the exclusions in Avast but obviously change <YOURNAME> to whatever your PC is called.

hope that makes some sort of sense!

None of the files exist in that directory anyway? Bit strange?
 
Went into a TDM Canals Server to unlock more attachments with the Scar-L.


Everyone was running around with DAO, USAS, M417's and M16A3.

I got kicked for this though:-

More likely you were just beating him and he's some 13 year old keyboard warrior with too much time and money.

Maybe I'm just not used to it but I hate the USAS. It just seems **** at anything further than punching distance!

I purshed the CQ DLC as a standalone package, but have now noticed that there are many Premium only servers appearing.... which means I cant play on them.

I hope that this is not a sign of things to come.

I will probably buy all the dlc's but individually (yea I know I should just get premium) which will mean that although I own all the content, I wont have access to some servers as they are premuim only....

Just buy premium then !

It actually works out cheaper than buying all the DLC separately, which you admit yourself you are probably going to do. And thats before you account for stuff like getting the DLC 2 weeks early, exclusive 2XXP weekends, the different camos etc..

If you're like raven and fed up with BF and may just buy armoured kill and nothing else, then fair enough, don't bother with premium. But its pointless to buy them all separately.

Yea your right... but I have already paid £11 for CQ, another £30 odd for premiuim...
