The resident transfer guy on the city forum has said an official bid for RvP will made next week and that Milan still want Tevez which is good. He's also said that utd are about to lose a player. Don't know if any utd fans know anything about that?

Well Pogba's gone, Owen's gone, good chance Anderson and Berbatov will be going, they're the most obvious ones

I would say that its probably Nani if anyone. There is no one else in the squad that would:

A) surprise us if they left
B) Manage to keep it quiet if they are a big player.

So I suspect that it would be Nani. Anderson and Berbatov wouldn't surprise me. In fact I really hope that we let Berbatov go one way or another. The boy deserves to be playing football again.

Nani is a great player but he does feel like a bit of a luxury and I am rarely sure as to whether he is as effective as Valencia at the moment.

if it means arsenal lose out on 20m by keeping rvp then so be it. let him go for free. send a message to all arsenal players that you will honour your contract and not **** off the moment u get a chance too.

If a player doesn't want to play somewhere though, he's not going to get 40 goals in that season. He's going to be miserable and demotivated. It would be a waste of 20m, and prove nothing.

Oh well cant say i was surprised to hear that RVP isnt going to be signing a contract extension with us. Have to admit im extremely disappointed in him choosing that stance, after all the **** we went through with him ie his injuries and supporting him, giving him the captains armband this yr and this is how he repays our faith in him??. I dont blame him for wanting to win trophies, i can understand that but i just think after all we have done for him...i mean we have only got one full season out of him since hes been with us so its not like hes done us any huge favours. Well i suppose him being top scorer last season helped but its a shame he couldnt stay injury free for longer.

Anyhow as i said no big surprise, just a bit saddened that he will be leaving us. It will be interesting to see who he signs for...Juve are interested in him so could be a possibility that he goes there. Id hate to see him at City, that would really disappoint me.

Proves one thing for sure that players have absolutely no loyalty towards their clubs, RVP is a prime example of this. As i said earlier in my post, we have put up with his injury prone seasons and yet we only got one good yr out of him. But i hope when and if we sell him, we get good money for him.

As usual Arsenal will survive without him, we did it last season without Fabregas, wont mention Nasri because he wasnt that important to us...well he had a few good games then went unnoticed for a large part of the season he was with us. But if he does go, we will miss his goals for sure but i reckon we will still survive and find ourselves in the top 4 next season.

Yeah tbf I think it's a bit of a myth that Nasri had a poor season last time out for City. He always looked fairly good to me

EDIT: He's still a money grabbing **** though obviously :p

He did quite well considering. It was hard for him at the start well apart from his debut where he got 3 assists :p

Towards the end of the season though he was very good. Looking forward to seeing what he can do next season with a full pre season. Aguero too!

Bursaspor and Beskitas both talking to Kolo so it looks like he is gone. Not a bad player but getting on now so a minimal fee if any and his wages off the bill is good.

EDIT: Kolo has done an interview today saying he has more to give before he leaves to the middle east or somewhere :p, who knows!

Caulker signs new 4 year contract with Spurs. Happy about this, hoping he'll get first team opportunities this season.

Has anyone else seen the report that Man Utd have sent a team of negotiators to try and get Lucas Moura from Sao Paulo? He would be a great signing but doesn't really play CM.

I imagine we will put in a bid for RvP at a reasonably low price. Why not? :)

saw something in the Daily Fail - but nothing more "realistic" than that

(isnt he likely to cost more than Modric though - seeing as we baulked at that fee, Im not sure if he really is a realistic target)

Dont expect anything to come of a bid for RvP but its worth a pop lol

Spurs should definitely be making Caulker first choice next season. Him and the lad from Ajax if that ever goes through....

RVP will end up at city for a massive pay hike so he can 'win trophies'
Caroll will go to Serie A
AVB will put Gomez back in as the Spurs No.1 Keeper
