Already got you on there mate! Ingame name Farthing. I can remember seeing your gear and having an idea of the cost so I'm not so worried about being nowhere near your dps!
At a guess my entire gear comes to between 2-3m.
 
Facerolling Act 2 now with my Monk. Although Act 3 requires concentration. I had to use a LoH build (which I loath) to get past Ghom.

All stats unbuffed

1300 Res All
15k DPS
9k Armour
35k HP
0 LoH

Currently farming for some more dps gear but its getting very expensive without sacrificing resists.

That 55k dps you quote, is that taking into account WotB? Or is that base damage? If its base just roughly how much have you spent on your char?

Like you I'm two handed, so no shield, my weapon is a decent one, over 100 str + vit and around 925 life on hit, 2.5% life steal, 60% critical chance.

If I swap my passives around I can get more dps, but my armour plummets. Maybe now I've upped my armour with better gear it might make less of a difference if I kill stuff quicker. Perhaps I just need to learn to run on certain mobs :p


If other people are getting much higher base dps I'm puzzled where I'm going wrong, either that or they're just spending a lot more than me! :s

Whats the dps on the weapon? Because 900 LoH would've been seriously expensive or you'd of had to sacrifice weapon DPS. With a 2H it just isn't worth the trouble with your slower attack rate. You want all out crit damage, stats and dps.

I think you need to drop some all res anyway. What stats do you have (Str/Vit)? By comparison, when I farm act 2 I don't use War Cry at all and w/ Enchantress I have 11k armour, 400 phys, 330 fire and 250 all res with 1700str and 1360 vit. My res are a little on the low side but you could easily sacrifice 300 all res (maybe 3 pieces with it on) for higher stats, more crit chance/damage and still survive plenty well.

Paid a mere 150k for it ages ago, looks like it is worth a load more than that on the market.
I guess I could increase the damage with a different weapon, but I'm not entirely convinced currently that suddenly increasing my damage at the expensive of my keeping my life up will help me. :/

Not unless you find a decent plan really, most of it is the same price/just a tiny bit more on the AH so if you're after the odd gem just buy them :)

over 340 hours and still like farming act 1 :D

Well 25k hp is seriously low. You want at least 40k, preferably 50-60k, since Revenge gives you more the more hp you have, same with Furious Charge if you use that rune.

As for the weapon, stats are very nice but 900 dps is extremely low for a 2H. Scratch the LoH and try to get at least 1100-1200 dps without sacrificing too much str/vit and with at least 60% crit or a socket. I picked up my 1180 dps Hammer w/ 160 Str/Vit and a socket for 1.7mil but knock off some dps/stat and the price should become a lot better. Just check often with a quick str/vit/socket filter and see if any good deals pop up.

Your crit chance is good but you could probably do with more crit damage. You want to be over 200 really. Seems like you have some IAS somewhere which you might be better swapping for Crit damage if you can.

Your best bet is looking at a couple of the lowest all res items you have and getting rid of them and going purely for stats/crit/armour. Also try and find a socketed helm with some crit chance, don't worry too much about all res on it as that'll just get crazy expensive.

1st - Probably nothing much if anything
2nd - Very high stat and crit chance but no 3rd stat so not as much
3rd - Definitely worth a fair bit

I'd say you need 1k Vit + a Helm with a socket for an Amethyst. Str and Damage are pretty good.

If that's without warcry you can definitely afford to lose some resists...

Ah Okay,

wonder how much the 3rd is worth then :) kind of like the second amulet. Found it and using it on my Wizard atm. :)
 
If I'm only on Inferno Act 2 so far but wish to upgrade my Staff of Herding to Inferno difficulty, can someone who has Inferno Act 4 Prime Evil quest invite me so I can purchase the BS plans?

If yes, anyone got 5 mins to help me out please? Much appreciated!
 
Finally hit level 60 :D

About 2/3 of the way through Act3 Hell, bought 2 650DPS weapons off the AH for about 20K total. Currently 14K DPS, 18K Hp and 318 resists and 719 LoH. For hell that appears to be the stats required to turn on God Mode.

Is stuff listed under Pounds only viewed by those in the UK or can the rest of Europe bid on them and its then converted to £?

If its the former then a) thats retarded and b) i need to change it so thanks for pointing it out. :)
