Just got off the phone with Gamestop where I pre-ordered it, they said they have it in stock but have to wait for permission from the vendor (I’m assuming Google) to release it. He mentioned something about a lawsuit, but I thought that was only the GNex and that 4.1 wouldn’t be affected. He did not know when they would be able to release it. The wait continues…

Just a safe employee? Or has Google caught on and are being stern about what they originally listed on the 'leaked' documents?

I imagine they've caught on and are getting strict. This is kind of a big deal considering the coverage the release is getting - its not iPad or Deathly Hallows big, but its big enough.

I'm expecting the Play store deliveries to be timed to be delivered on the same day that the device is available in the stores. Anything ordered after release would be the normal ~2 days. That would be my guess anyway.

Money was taken from my account when i ordered it 2 days ago on the 10th,don't know why they haven't taken payment from you yet but im pretty sure they are getting read to ship them now.

What cases are people getting(got)? I'm after a leather wallet style case. So ideas?

Based on the tablet having a touch screen, and a plastic back, it should be nice and tough, so I'm just using a pouch.

It's because OC charge more than nearly everybody thats why they hate competitor talk, and those places we cannot speak of offer a lot of stuff cheaper than OC :-P

Ah, I'd presumed Google must've brought some legal power to bear, still this doesn't show the competitor site in a good light, and if the embargo is enforced there are gona be a lot of dissatisfied customers.

Hehe, probably right. But still, I've spent a grand with OC's in the past, mentioning another competitor's name in a post will not stop me buying components and gadgets from OC's in future. Oh well. I feel told off.

Well I think most are cancelling because we have to pay £10 more than everywhere else ( if ordered from play ) and we are forced to wait while everyone else has the fun.
