BTW, no faffing with finding Tranfsormers the movie, it was just there in Google Play, under My Library.

And the £15 is there as well. :)

This is going to be great for reading books on!

Love the feel of the back as well, amazing it's plastic, feels like leather, nice and grippy.
 
Well mine did arrive, thankfully. I like it, the screen is nice and its very quick. Quicker than my Galaxy Nexus (also with JB) for sure.

Installed my usual programs and stuff, everything works as expected.

I noticed that the Transformers film actually shows up in Youtube on my PC under Purchases.
 
Google better liven themselves up and offer an additional 5 dingers of credit for all play purchased tabs as recompense for the grrrrrssss . . .

Why? It is not their fault a vendor has started selling earlier than they were apparently told. Seems a lot of hate around for Google and they have always said mid-July (or 2-3 weeks on Play Store).
 
Agreed (with the post 2 up), some people are having a major over reaction.

Google told people not to sell them as they obviously wanted a world wide launch.

a few companies sold them....and on some forums people are talking about legal action against google....CALM THE F DOWN!

it still says 1-2 weeks so it could still be 1-2 weeks, its a brilliant tablet at a brilliant price, if you wait 1 or 2 weeks....WHO CARES.

How do they end up getting away from it,obviously they know if they were to stock this tablet from google,they were given instructions not to sell it until google or asus say so,i expect there must be some kind of penalty for any store who sells it before google permits.
 
it looks like google sent the "do not sell" order and ****** either didnt get it/ignored it, as every other seller hasnt done anything, imo google where going for a world wide release on 1 day, probably monday, and ****** have let the cat out the bag early and released the angry geeks!
 
Rememeber to get 4.1.1 update people.

Also English (UK) voice search works for me on this and my GN. Correctly states David Cameron.

Can't believe how upset people get over this, pretty dumb lol.

I think ****** sold it early knowing exactly what they were doing, it's turned out to be pretty amazing marketing for them to the exact market they want. You can't even buy that type of focused advertising.

I wonder what action google will take on them.

I can see some overeacting, but I'm not one of them. I have neither hate or bile for either the vendor/s and/or google per say, just simply grrrrrrs . . To be fair a stated release date of "mid-July" is exceptionally whooly isn't it?
