rp the iPlayer app is 'blocked' in that the store says it's not compatable with the N7.

Yup, flash and iPlayer is locked with an incompatible message. Hopefully sky get their act together because for the money the Nexus 7 completely destroys the iPad, but for a few key apps.

i just dont see why google cant give a date lol. i ordered mines from google play purely because im from northern ireland, and the only other supplier i was aware of at the time still charge postage to here so im not bothered by people getting it any earlier etc, but i'd have liked a more definite release schedule... perhaps googles vagueness is what was the cause of these early releases in the first place, who knows? i just wanna be told "it will be shipped tomorrow" or "yeah, thats not being shipped til the 29th" afterall, tis why they say curiosity killed the cat

Downside currently is it'll revert back to 1.3Ghz when you turn off the screen. It's to do with some silly thing Google have done and requires some other files to be edited to stop it. Same thing happens on the Galaxy Nexus.
