Do any of the retail stores have pre-order on? Can't really find much on Google.

Yes, can't go into specifics cause of forum rules but there are some high street stores (surely you can guess!) that have pre orders for 16th, but none of them offer collection in store, only shipping so it would arrive on the 17th, as per most direct pre orders.

As Google have confirmed all pre-orders are shipping over the next 3 business days, I'd just order direct from Google Play. Plenty of people ******** about how badly Google have managed it but I'm not really bothered about waiting a few extra days to get it.

Another well known online store has them on pre-order to ship for delivery on the 19th.

Good point, tbh I didn't really look much as I pre-ordered on the 28th June and can't be bothered with cancelling/refusing delivery just to save £20 and get it a few days before others.

If you're not in a rush, give it a few weeks, most high street stores will have stock available by then

I'm sure there are many people with the Galaxy Nexus that already know this and have used it, but im sharing for those that dont or have forgotten or who like me are getting their first exposure to android right now. Besides the google play credit which is activated and redeemed when you add your google account on the device but anyway open the Google Wallet app and enter the email you want to use and when it gets to the screen showing a Citi Card that you can add or sign up for to use w/google wallet as a NFC payment system, swipe to the right and it will have two more card images to choose from, a Google Pre-Paid card and adding a gift card. Pick the pre-paid card and it will set up a new pre-paid credit card for you with $10.00 on it from Google to get you to to fall in love with Google wallet and try it out. To clarify, you arent adding your own credit card or adding any account of yours to this to get it so dont worry, the only reason you would have to add your own credit card to this would be to add additional funds to the prepaid card it creates for you if you liked the experience you had with your free 10.00 bucks. I personally am hoping i can use this to order the case on the Play store,ehhhh from Asus directly, not too keen to order from play store again.

*I was assuming you can use it as a regular credit card to checkout online at any retailer because it is after all a MasterCard with a traditional credit card number but upon further inspection it appears to be a Debit only card, and therefore would have to be used as a NFC Paypass payment type only, so no Nexus 7 case, but hey just go to Chevron and pump $10.00 bucks of Gas on Google. You are welcome."

Could only find the brown for £7.50 (as you say). £8.50 for the green which I've ordered.

So I'm just going to do it from Google Play on Monday, probably go for the 8GB version.

Is their any other difference between the 8 and 16GB models?
