So, still considering getting the game key for about £26 somewhere. My question is, will I need to use the RMAH to finish the game on all difficulties? Will I be tempted to use it out of frustration? If either answer is yes or maybe then you will save me £26 as I can't afford a new money sink.

That's entirely down to you, no one can answer if you will be tempted to use it. I personally have no intention of going anywhere near it.

I'm bored because I have ****e gear and keep getting owned by packs, and I have no cash to go on AH, I spent a chunk of change on getting a couple of 1h xbows, then I found a 2h which gave me way more stats and DPS, so out of pocket slightly and not had much luck reselling what I bought :/

Got some time off in a few weeks, going to level a barb and hopefully have more luck as I'm constantly having to kite.

It's not even that. I haven't died yet maybe because I'm a low level lol. The game is very good, it's just I don't feel the 'essence' of it.

The problem with the RMAH is actually that it's been poorly executed. Actually the AH on the whole. I quite like the idea, and I have to admit the RM side of things is quite a big draw, on the basis you can make money out of it.. It's just a shame it's so poorly done..

for anyone with a barb struggling on act 3/4 I found that simply getting my block chance to near 50% made an incredible difference. I went from impossible to do act 3 to downing diablo in one evening thanks to block %

I had average resists (400 ish unbuffed) high armour (around 9k unbuffed) 15k damage and about 40k HP.

I was using a sacred shield that had rolled a high block chance and combined it with a justice lantern and helm of command. Once i got that block up i got through the game with minimal difficulty, although there was still the odd elite pack that was problematic, particularly fire chains.

*edit to add: had 800 life on hit and about 600 life regen = was essential :)

Yay just beat Diablo on Inferno on my Barb. Took a few attempts though. My Wizard is stuck on Ghom however. :p

Any tips for a good wizard build for Ghom ? :)

If I've got a level 60 DH, is there any shortcut to levelling up another character or can I assume it's going to take just as long again? I can't jump into eg hell can I as I wouldn't be able to equip anything decent to survive?

Selling up my Barb gear on the RMAH today, wish me luck :D

If you ever want to give any of it away, i'm right here :D

The only way to get further in to the game is to play the game.

Finally downed Ghom in inferno today on my Monk, without the use of any LoH :D

Now to start working my way to the end of Act3 and work on the gear a bit to farm it easier.

Could get a friend who is level 60 to rush you though i.e. normal/nightmare so you can get to hell quicker etc

Shouldn’t really take you that long to level another char to be honest, me and MCP started a new char the other day and we managed to get up to level 32 in a day

could have could higher maybe but we was having a laugh in between and chilling playing the game

Could always stack + experience gear which does help as I was a few levels higher above MCP and he managed to catch up during the game by just having more + experience gear then me

I was getting bored after building a tanky barb and completing inferno, was just about ready to quit until I tried out the double tornado build. MUCH more fun, things actually die quickly and the number of hits per second that flash on the screen is incredible! Should hold my attention a bit longer as I farm better crit gear..
