Not sure whether something has changed. Or whether having a few days break and having another run at it. But I'm now able to play on Act 2, can kills most elite packs without a difficulty if I save my WotB and Ignore Pain for them, managed to kill some with only Ignore Pain.

Now I've got far enough to actually come across elite mobs of the spiders.... Are you having a ************************ laugh? They do insane amounts of damage. Currently died 3 times trying to kill a mob with extra health and arcane :/

That's a bad combo though.

I have massive hate for most of the sucubus elite packs.

They run, and they have a horrible curse. Once you throw in a couple of horrible afixes (molten on anything that runs away is massive hate) they become a nightmare...

Spiders are proof that they don't seem to know wtf they're doing when it comes to balancing enemies sometimes. They are by FAR the most dangerous enemy on Act 2. There damage is the same, if not higher, than the melee serpents, and they have a crazy fast attack speed AND move speed. Fire Chains, Teleport was my favourite combo. They'd appear behind you dragging the chains through you and hit before you could even react.
 
Yet again I lost my NV stacks and was wondering why I was auto attacking instead of shooting Hungering Arrows. I was kiting and accidently dragged my skills off my bar. Only solution atm is to set my skills and then turn off Elective mode.

And no, I don't click my skills like a noob. I don't even use the keyboard. I have my skills mapped to my Razer Naga :)

I've been stuck at the first or second quest on Act 3 Inferno all week now. Losing motivation to play again. I dunno whether to keep trying with my current gear and keep dying, or upgrade my gear once again via AH, or go and farm a previous Act.

Yeh I didn't mind dying against those spiders as much as other mobs. Definitely the thing I've come across that needs balancing most. Dear Blizzard, you've fixed the retarded wasps and similar that ran away constantly, now please make spiders do slightly less damage so you can kill mobs of them with something other than massive area of effect attacks. I have to use ignore pain just for normal mobs :/
Just got through to Killing Zoltan. First time without too much stress.

Spent a load of cash upgrading the Gem in my weapon to a Star Emerald. 70% crit chance :)
Puts my overall dps up to 37k without WotB and just over 100k when using WotB.

Fingers crossed some of the stuff I'm selling sells and I'll be able to afford to either get a better weapon, replace my weaker ring or get a better amulet. Unless I stumble across a better chest piece they look to be my best options so far.

Got a cheeky bid on a weapon near enough identical to mine but with some life steal currently. If it goes up any higher I won't bother mind :p

I can see why everyone uses ignore pain with the life regen rune now. Clearly when I used it before my damage wasn't that high and I had life on hit - so the amount of life regen didn't really do much. Now with WotB I'm going towards full health in just a few hits!

25 mil is too much. 15 should get you a sale. I bought the following for 17 mil recently

+11-23 damage
+121 dexterity
+31 cold resistance
57% crit damage
7% crit chance
4% ranged damage reduction.

Nearly salvaged this axe due to the low dps. I wonder how much it will end up going for as its at 1.4 mil already with 22 hours to go.

decided to go back to Hell and try and get some money/gear behind me.

Anyone recommend a good route to farm?
 
First experience of an enrage timer. We was all wondering what was going on after ressing and then dying right away with no chance of getting back to town. Just wasted 10 minutes trying to get another elite down, which I got to 400k HP but then hit enrage timer because the other 2 AFK'd instead of ressing right away. Otherwise we would have got it.

As a ranged, I also hate people who fight on stairs.

I detest those weird poison mobs in Act 3 who put their arm under the ground and cast ranged poison at you. They normally come in packs of 5+ and the damage from the poison in unblelievable even with 1600 res all!!

Help anyone,

I'm stuck and have been for over a week!

I'm playing inferno Act II searching for Zoltun Kulle's head underground and getting killed by spider elites every time... I just cant kill them!

I've only got 15k gold left due to dying 10+ times last 24 hrs. I've farmed Act I twice already and up graded my gear to what I have now..... but I just cant do it, they move to fast and inflict to much damage. If I was outside and could kite id be ok... I think

How do I go on..... any decent items on the AH are millions +!!! :mad:

I'm bored and annoyed now,

What are my options?!

You could try clearing a section of the dungeon that is out of the way and then kite them there and leave them?

I'd recommend heading back to Act 1 to build up some gold first coz you are going to die at some point.

How can an item i put on the gold AH for 7 mill bid / 14 mill B/O sell for (after deductions) 3.4 mill?

Bug? exploit?

Just go farm act 1 a few times to build up some cash. I find an Act 1 run nets me 2-300k gold not including items worth AHing. I just sell all blues/yellows rather than salvaging as I've got loads of crafting stuff atm.
