he Boston Red Sox are celebrating Fenway Park's 100th Anniversary this season, and Liverpool FC is going to be a part of the historic summer. The football club will be partaking in a three game North American tour, which includes a stop in Boston for a game at Fenway Park. The team has added Fabio Borini and Clint Dempsey to a team that came within a game of winning the FA Cup.
I really don't agree. We were killing teams at the start of the year until we lost Cleverley, Anderson and Vidic for the entire season. You are basing your view that City would have rinsed the league last year had they not lost Yaya for a few games and Silva hadn't gone off the boil after christmas.
i was far from over the moon when city won but i do believe they deserved it more than united. united did not have a great season.
you mention cleverly. wasn't it his first season? there's no saying he could have kept up what he was doing, he is still unproven. anderson hasn't lived up to expectation and i'm sure not many united fans would miss him. vidic is a valid point.
this season will be the best in a long time imo. chelsea could be city's biggest threat, i'm just no sold on RDM.
They won by goal Difference... Against a team with the most injury's in the whole league. So while they might not have as many big names as city there obviously just as strong as a team or city would have walked the league.
I don't mean to be rude but I get the distinct impression that you have no love for United and you come across as rather biased against them.

Our problem last year was the midfield ran out of legs and ideas and it pretty much picked itself. .

Definitely just a rumour.![]()
not at all, i'm not biased towards anyone. i'm a spurs fan, admitting that chelsea may be city's biggest threat. that's not easy to do. i am basing this on the players they've signed this window. they don't seem to have strengthened in defence and it could be a case of too many cooks in midfield, so it might be nothing to write home about. we will see in a few weeks.
Tom, you are seriously going to be wasting your effort trying to explain such things to some of the people in here. Why bother. They're all over the moon that Man Utd are finally being challenged as their clubs have failed to do so.
They're also getting well ahead of themselves, but we'll see how things play out.
He'd be a good player for Spurs. If that's a recent picture...
a lot of them are more unproven than Cleverley - so if that arguement works for one, it has to work for the others also
Dont get me wrong, Oscar, Hazard and the rest may well turn out to be brilliant .......but just as easily they might not (Im going off how great Veron was before he arrived at Utd, and then Chelsea, and how it didnt work out - and this was a well reputed player at the top of his game rather than untested youngsters)

Ballers... I think I just hurt my face from cringing.
They're more unproven than Cleverley? Cleverley's played for Manyoo TEN TIMES. Ten. One more than nine. And has never been capped by England.
Marin played for Werder Bremen 87 times. And has been capped 16 times by Germany. He's only five months older than Cleverley.
Then Hazard - he was the first non-French player to win the young player of the year award, and was the only player to ever win it twice. He then won the player of the year award twice. He's then played 147 times for Lille and 28 times for Belgium. He's basically one year and five months younger than Cleverley.
Obviously they're not guaranteed to be ridiculous ballers... but to say they're a lot more unproven than Cleverley is absolute folly.
Reading Manyoooooooo and Citeh every ****ing time is already painful enough.
