I'm a bit late to this thread but in case it hasn't already posted in the existing 74 pages...

Hearing all the comments of users from other forums saying that their boxes had already been opened I hope that mine IS this hard to get into.

NO sound

Iust switched mine on and i get sound through the headphones but not the speakers. I updated to 4.1.1 to start with then i realised i hadnt activated it properly to get the £15, i did a factory reset, activated it properly but still no sound, ive looked over on xda and there seems to be a couple of people who had/have problems.... one started working on its own after a few days. The 3 volume sliders are about 3/4.

Any ideas?

just follow the instructions at the start, i skipped them initially as i didint have a wifi connection at work when i had it delivered.

Just to be sure guys if i refuse delivery off the GP order tomorrow it will get returned to sender and should get a refund automatically with a few days yeah?

They have up to 28 days iirc.

only thing putting me off atm is the reports (and tests) of poor SQ one of the main things I look for from a portable media device

my Iphone 4 (I'm no Apple fanboy - I buy whatever is best for the money) sounds great for music, videos etc

wondered whether to get the Xoom 2 on offer instead

Still no shipping confirmation, pre ordered on 27th June

Join the club, I ordered 28th June and still ma yet to see anything! Have you got the charge/pre-auth on your card still? Most shipping confirmations in the UK seem to come through between 1800-2200 and 0400-0700 so there is still plenty of time for it to ship.

Mines got a dent on the side. Its hard to see but in the right light you can see it.

Quite a few other people on XDA reporting their's arriving with dents to.

Return it for sure.

Once you enter your credit card details it adds the £15 credit. It tells you also.

Bummer, mine arrived this morning and I love it..... Apart from the common screen lifting on the left hand side issue. I've requested a replacement but in the meantime I'll continue to enjoy it.
