I don't get how people have so much cash. I mean how much are people making an hour etc. Was there some crazy exploits to get loads of money? I've played most nights since release and have got 2 lvl 60's - my demon hunter is in act 2 inferno and my barb just made it to act 3 inferno and at this stage both chars at a brick wall if I'm honest and it's just not fun.

I ended up kiting the barb out (bought some gold to do it :( ) for about 1-2 mill and it made my game a lot better (up to act 2) but I see upgrades now at ridiculous prices (either for gold or rmah). I recon if I hadn't bought anything I doubt I would have more than 2-3 million in total. I've had 1 item drop that made me 350k on ah other than that just garbage.

I've got the point where I feel I can only farm hell level or possible act 1 inferno (at a push) but what are the chances of getting stuff worth loads (I assume the lvl 62+ items are where the big money is at).

I've yet to get over 100k on a sale on AH either. I think its just one of those things, and terrible luck. I did get a couple of items last night which I think may be worth a bit, but will need to get a price check on them I think.
 
I have tried a few runs on Act 1 Inferno and lets just say I have gone back to farm Hell for a bit :D. As soon as I see an elite mob I get destroyed as I'm not putting out enough damage and my resitances are awful.

Trying to get all the items to unlock Whimseyshire so still have a good few days of playing time before I get bored :)

Really dont understand...haha

After two hours I would say I would have identfied around 27 rares, I would say I normally make around 300k at least out of the lot as 1 or 2 of them will be half reasonable.

Then 1 run in 5 you will find something worth well over the million mark....

Last night was the first time I have had any weapon drop with over 500 dps for example, 1 or 2 handed. Any armour I've had drop has either been pants, or things like 47 int 48 dex with a barbarian skill, on a level 60+ item. The Plans I got last night are the first thing I've ever had that could have gone for any decent money, will just have to make some Perfect Star Emeralds and sell those instead.

Hahaahaa, I really don't think that many people have done it already or that many people will at all, it's just so risky if you get bad affix combination.

I started playing HC and my barb is lvl 39 now :), playing and going to play my barb as tank in groups only, but my aim is only Act 1 inferno.

I'm quite much done with SC until at least some major changes are done.

Wow you got to lvl 39 act II on inferno hardcore? Is that what you are saying?
 
Getting back into this again. I think I farmed Act 1 with for so long that I forgot I could just go and try Act 3 instead. My dps is lower than it was for Act1/2 but with better res all I seem to be able to kite away and beat the enrage timers. The game is actually fun again in Act 3.
 
i have sort of lost interest in the ah now. The game is still fun to play but i am bit bored of act 1 inferno and i still die all the time on act 2 and i am bored trying to get better items. I just end up going around in circles with the stats. I am going back to quake live, maybe ill play more in the future but won't be going crazy trying to find better items.
 
Any ideas how much this would sell for? Using it on my Wizard with a rubbish offhand atm got 45kdps..

I make about 10 mil a day on average pretty consistently from doing a few act 3 runs and maybe 1 Act 1 run a day. I've had 20 mil items drop in act 1 as well, not sure if people dont realise the value of some of the stuff they get? I have 0 MF on my hunting gear at the moment too.

Anyway guessing game time, just picked this up on the AH, who wants to hazard a guess at what its worth? Trying to get a feel for whether I overpaid or not :p
