Anyone else seen the Tesco offer on HUKD?

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/asus-google-nexus-16gb-189-179-tesco-direct-collect-instore-1268750

The voucher makes it £179 for the 16GB version, and using quidco will get you another tenner cashback.

Can't say no to that!

*edit*

and clubcard vouchers work too :p

Also if you have any Tesco Club Card vouchers you can use them, I just spent the last 10 minutes typing and just got my order confirmed with a total cost of £116

Just ordered from Tesco, need to cancel my google order now

This, being delivered tomorrow.

Sent a note via the PS store to cancel as I can't be bothered to sit on the end of a phone for an hour just for them to tell me to refuse deliver.

Hohum.

Nice and fault free! Congrats!

What's the screen quality like?

It's good, satisfactory in as much as I will be pleased to use it for my comic reading, Lucifer at mo having enjoyed the hard copies, and web browsing but it's clearly not as good a screen as the SGT 7.7 it is however cool and pleasing to the eye.

It'll fit comfortably in most of my jacket inside pockets probably in some of my hoody zip up pockets, I'm gona like this, the form is a huge plus for portability and the screen is fine:D:cool:

Nice one! Enjoy - A definite bargain.

Yh I know, I'm not patient enough to stay on the phone for an hour but I'll try tonight when I get back. If not I'll just refuse delivery.

Just use the click to call support feature. You type in your request and phone number and Google call you straight away. Cancelled my order in about 4 minutes.

Me. Mine is perfect. Its a great product. As reviews have said, its not just good for the price' its just good.

I second all your points, it's easily as well put together and designed as the SGT 7.7, at the moment I would chose the Nexus if I was going out or just browsing and the SGT 7.7 if I was watching movies, tv or videos but this is still absolutely fine going by the start of Transformers.

I have no issue with the speakers either unlike many of the reviews I've read.

TNT just attempted delivery of my 16GB Nexus 7...

I just hope its automatic that they will attempt delivery again tomorrow.

Ring them, you might still be a victim of computer2000, you'll know if there's no card at your address but they say they put one through your door, my address had "Gordon House" inserted after my house num and street name on the post label even though all the computerised records were showing correct the driver attempted del elsewhere.

720p MKVs steam across my wireless network from a windows server stutter free, hangs a quite a while if you try skip forwards or backwards though.

1080s are a no no.

Opps forgot to say that's using ES file explorer.

Using what router, on what Wireless mode?

I've yet to find any device stutter with 1080p although I'm on a WNDR3700 router and "Video Network" mode is eanbled for WiFi (stops HD video from losing packets when streaming over WiFi<>LAN).

Also, use BS Player Free...it's better for HD streaming.

Well I've had this for over a week now, and can only say I'm more than happy with the purchase. I've hardly been on my PC since I received it.
For the main reasons I bought it, browsing, ebook and comic reading, and the odd game, I can't fault it.
The portability is great, the fact you can put it in a jacket pocket means it can be used out and about, where I know I just wouldn't use a 9"+ tablet.
Also, I've installed the 11.1 flash apk from XDA, sideloaded the BBC iPlayer apk (Google is your friend) and it plays perfectly.
Happy bunny time.
