I've had a closer look in the light at mine and it is slightly raised - but I certainly wouldn't have noticed without this thread. It pushes down a bit, but you'd have to be really anal to notice.

That doesn't seem bad at all, but for some people it's raised higher and gets worse once the device gets hot and also makes a creaking sound when using it.

OK I will keep an eye on it then. I don't have any creaking. I'll just return it in a month or two if it gets worse.

Same I didn't even notice at all until reading abotu it. I pushed mine down applying a bit of pressure and it seems to have gone down.....who knows how long it will stay like that!

Maybe someone who is sending one back can take a pic to see if it's much worse than mine - I'm surprised no one has already if it's that bad. I really wouldn't have noticed it on mine and even now I have it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

That picture is similar to how mine was when it arrived. After fiddling with the screws its a lot better.

Just to say mine hasn't got that incredibly slight raise, though surely that much would be within manufacturing tolerance that saying if it does feel spongy it probably is a "fault", I imagined "the raise" would be greater.

Mine is raised even less on top right.
Wouldn't notice without this thread as well....
