Following on from the successful meet organised by Ahleckz last year where a fun time was had by all (although Ahleckz seemed to enjoy himself more when harrassing aged females..) I propose we continue the tradition by having a fun filled session of drinking, mockery and frolics on Saturday 27th October.

The Plan:
Meet where? The Ark, Frederick Street (just off George Square). It's a "scream" pub with relatively cheap booze, a beer garden in the unlikely event of sun, grub, fruit machines et al.
Meet when? I propose 3pm to 4pm for the main meeting time, it's a Saturday so can start a little bit earlier
Meet why? Because it's fun to meet new people, folk attending have the same interests (or at least some in common). It's also after pay day for most folk so it's time to cut loose!
What about after? Last time we went onto a pub where Ahleckz nearly got beaten up by a girl, then hit Jumping Jaks for some drunken tomfoolery (again this was mostly Ahleckz, the rest of us just drank and bobbed our heads). The options are open, we'll probably be in the pub till 10pm before a group vote is taken for those that want to stay out.
Travel? Glasgow is easily accessible by bus/train or car, if anybody from "dawh south" wishes to attend you are more than welcome. A lot of the OcUK residents in Scotland aren't actually Scottish (myself included!) so whilst jokes may be made, it'll be a fairly split bunch.
Accommodation? Glasgow has an abundance of hotels and B&Bs, if anybody from further afield needs a recommendation then ask. Make a weekend of it, Glasgow is a great city with lots to see and do. Last time there were sofas available so if anybody is able to offer the same again, please pipe up!
