You get 100's of rares per 3-4 hour session, can you teleport or something?

I dont mean to be sounding sarcastic just trying to understand how your doing this so I can replicate!

Vault + Tactical Advantage + natalya's 4 piece set = permanent fast movement with 0 discipline overhead. I can clear pretty much every elite pack in Act 1 + warden/butcher in 25-30 minutes in 150+MF gear since I just vault past all the trash and only kill the packs.

Act 3 obviously is a lot slower as you have to clear trash and MF gear swapping takes some time and adds risk. Thats why I mix the 2 acts up depending on my mood (which I think is what Bliz intended!)

I've actually found my highest value items in Act 1, but I find more mid-level value items overall in Act 3. Statistically legendary and set items are more likely to drop in Act 1 than Act 3 too. I find Act 2 too spread out to make for good farming (other than Vault of the Assassin of course).

Probably asking a noobish question here, but I've seen some videos and discussions of people using mirror skin AND teleport, as well as force armour AND magic weapon skills as a wizard.... how do I get to use both skills of the same mastery class??

Options -> Gameplay -> Turn on Elective mode.

Am I right in thinking if I put 20,000,000 gold up for sale on RMAH people can buy bits of it and then it will eventually give me the whole sum or does someone need to buy the 20,000,000 so I should put it up in bits? £49 it is. :) then they take 30% :( ha

I had 2 sales out of my 11.6M I think, so yeah I reckon you can sell the gold in a lump sum and people will be able to buy bits of it. Did take almost a day and a half for mine to sell though...

Clear Keep Depths 1-3, then through Tower of the Cursed 1 & 2, Kill Cydea, Core of Arreat, kill Azmodan, Tower of the Damned 1 & 2 then Heart of the Damned (aka Heart of the Phasebeasts).

Then I port to Rakkis Crossing and see if any pack between there and Underbridge, do Underbridge if open.

Normally I stop here, however if I feel like it I check the first parts of Arreat Crater 1 & 2 but cba to clear the whole thing.

If I'm in grenades spec I might go into the Fields of Death or whatever they are called but its too annoying as a ranged spec so I will skip it.

Everywhere else I dont bother.

Thanks for that, i thought it'd be something along those lines. I done most of that earlier today but got nothing of real value, guess my lucks just not in.

More interesting than crushing acts 1 & 2 though. Act 3 takes a bit more concentration as barb.

Yeah you have dry spells same as anywhere else, but if you keep at it decent stuff does drop eventually.

Can someone with a barb that can easy do act 1 inferno inc eliete post gear up?

Still sruggle big time ill post what i have later 9.30pm

Try to get 500 all res about 33khp and like 13k damage and you should be good to. Search AH for All res, strength and vitality, you can get decent items which will lead you into act 2 for pretty cheap from what ive seen. Ive always used sword and shield, so a decent shield will serve you ok aswell.

What's your battletag? You can join and inspect my gear. naisdes#2503.

In short, I have 51k HP, 23k DPS (65k with WotB), 39% Crit, +259 Crit Damage, 430 Resist All (650 with War Cry Impunity rune), 5.7k armor. I use sword and board with Frenzy, Leap, Ignore Pain, Revenge, War Cry and WotB with Berserker Rage, Ruthless and Weapons Master.

Had this drop lastnight, 100% crit dmg is nice with the intel and vitality as well, what you reckon price wise?

Not sure of the price, but I'll offer 2m. Sure you would get more on the AH though :p

Not bad DPS for sword and shield but isn't your armour and res a bit... well, ****? My Barb has twice that armour and only 150-200 less all res.

I know this is a bit of a late moan considering the games been out a few months now but damn, i really hate the AH.

I've realised how much i enjoyed how disposable items were to mates and people you knew on D2, feeling good for helping them out and them doing the same for you. Now if anything good drops it's not "oh cool, i'll give this to my mate who's a different class/build", it's "how much is this worth on the AH?" or "will this sell on the RMAH?". I originally didn't think it was that much of a core mechanic in the game so never complained - but the more (or less) i play, the more i believe it's why i'm not enjoying it as much.

It's bad enough that the loot tables are terrible (and they can fix that) but Blizzard are always going to be controlling the market in their favour. I really, really, really want to love this game - and in many ways i do, but it's essentially taken away everything that made D2 great and turned it into a game that nobody wants to play after completing it.

It's either one big roll the dice game with ridiculously bad odds or some sort of financial simulator.

It feels so wrong to put this game down and i've defended it to plenty of people but i can see why people are quitting in their 100s of thousands. Once the new game novelty wears off for all the people new to Diablo, and Guild Wars 2 is released, less and less things will be bought from the auction houses, and it'll keep dwindling. It genuinely saddens me. PvP will excite ex-players again but within a few months it'll be exactly the same.

Blizzard will be forced to change the game completely in a rushed expansion or run the risk of it not being played by anyone except the cult hardcore.

I wish them the best, i really do.
