The screen locks up on mine, when holding it in a natural position. I thought apps were being unresponsive until it dawned upon me what the real problem was. So pedantic? I think not.

The screen locks up on mine, when holding it in a natural position. I thought apps were being unresponsive until it dawned upon me what the real problem was. So pedantic? I think not.
So only issue I've encountered thus far is after unlocking. Any touch of the screen produced extreme flickering where background colours would cycle, quite headache inducing. A restart and I've yet to see the issue again.
That one encounter aside, thus far I've had no issues.

The trouble with wifi issues is that without knowing the exact circumstances (router, house wall type, distance, etc) it's very hard to get objective information. I've only used mine on two different wifi setups, at fairly short range, and haven't had a problem.
I've discovered a disadvantage to owning the Nexus 7.
This is the first time I've had an Android tablet but I've owned an Android phone for a while. Before after using the iPad then going to my Sensation I noticed nothing but now going from the 7 the phone feels really small.
I think it's because I have the same keyboard, the homescreens are very similar and the 7 is a large phone without the phone part.

Got my replacement.... and the screen has a slight raise on the left side. AGAIN.

Not yet but I will. I just noticed the protective label at the bottom was covering the speaker which explains the volume issues on my Skype calls!

No wfi issues here. Round my dads yesterday and he has a rubbish modem. In the garden I only had one bar of signal but I never lost connection and kept connected all the time.
Really loling at asking it to define swear words. I asked it to define s*** but it picked up on some one else saying hole, so it did s*** hole. Very funny listening to it define that one.
