So the recommended course of action for those not affected would be what?
A) Leave it be.
or
B) clamp it overnight.

If it's working well use it and see if causes problems for a while until stock stabilises or the issue is acknowledged, then do a straight forward swap when there's plenty around.

Picked mine up from Tesco today. Case alignment is fine as far as I can tell and really impressed with the form factor and speed compared to my TF101 which I think will end up being consigned to being used to watch films on long haul flights.

Any suggestions for cases that add minimal bulk/weight?

If their was a design fault though, wouldn't every single one of the devices produced have the screen lift?

Some people say theirs is truly perfect so it makes you wonder...

Hi, I've been lurking at this post for the past week and thought I would sign up and input my experience.

I bought a Nexus 7 from Tesco last week, and thanks to this forum and others like Xda, I immediately checked the left side. Mine had a little screen lift which I am sure I would not have noticed normally. I pressed it down and it was better but still had a little give compared to the right side which was solid. I was not really too bothered by it to be honest.

However, later that night I was playing around with the screen brightness, and I noticed a small cluster of stuck pixels. I think it must have been more then 1 pixel as it looked like a decent size. It was very obvious in brighter background colours and when viewing the tablet on a slight angle, that spot was brighter then the rest of the screen. I tried running a stuck pixel app from the play store, but it didn't seem to do much, however I didn't have the patience to run it for hours as some comments suggested for the app. Unfortunately I will return it and get it replaced, otherwise it was a great tablet from the limited time I had with it.

Picked mine up from Tescos & if it hadn't been for the comments in this thread I'd never have noticed anything wrong at all with the screen lift

I will not be returning it unless it gets significantly worse or it developes a fault that actually affects the use of the device.

So Google play shipped mine...after few days using, screen on left side raised a big-time marginal.
Now, do I return mine to curry or return Google one and hope it will be fault free?

Anyone refused delivery from google and got their money back quickly??

I would pull the back off (very easy with a guitar plectrum/credit card it pulls off in seconds) and remove the sticky back foam tape. This foam tape is too high and pushes the screen up at a point where the glue is at it's thinnest. You can easily replace it with some more foam tape if you ever want to return the tablet and are worried they will notice.

I wasn't at all bothered with the tiny amount of screen lift I had (I posted a pic in the thread) but this fix was so easy that I did it anyway and now it is 100% flush and doesn't push in at all.
