Reported: 10 Killed in US Batman Premiere

You needed that bit of footage to tell you that? The guy thinks he's the Joker and burst into a cinema opening fire on members of the public with a semi-automatic weapon.

I think it's been pretty obvious he is 'mentally unwell' for a dew days now.

What about the massacre in Norway ? Was he found to be mentally ill?

It is these sorts of cases that i would support the death penalty. Where there is no doubt that the person was guilty.

Don't even bother trying to find out why he did it, no point. Just line him up against a wall on live tv and shoot him in the head.

Instead they want to protect him, then they want to waste everyone time going through a court system and the guy will love all the attention and the media will love having a story for the next 3 months.

Somebody guns down multiple people... of course they're bloody ill. Average person couldn't even contemplate killing somebody let alone dealing with the mental trauma. To kill and not care = one sick little puppy.

I agree, sadly the world we live in is pathetic, no doubt something like that would spawn a million protesters.

Zombie sympathizers in fictional media are the best ****-take of modern society I've ever seen.

So basically your saying it's O.K to kill mentally ill people

''Just line him up against a wall on live tv and shoot him in the head.''

Says a lot about your blood-lust tbh, that's not justice it's revenge!!

How do you know he's mentally ill?

He claims to be The Joker, as well as killing and injuring people. Thing is. That doesn't necessarily mean he is mentally ill. Isn't there a difference between someone who is mentally ill and someone who has developed or is born with an evil side to them?

Plenty of average people join the army and slaughter women and children including the British army. Not all of them come back all 'waaah waaabooo boo hoo, I dont like war' and top themselves.

Just like I would not say all gang murders around the world are caused mentally ill people.

We should not give bomber command a memorial, execute them for been mentally ill in your strange world.:D

Question is, how can he be drugged? Unless drugged by the police? The effects of any drugs would have worn off by now since he was at the cinema.

It's likely he'd be sedated for mental health reasons. Just guessing but I'd imagine even more so because his court appearance was televised.

Here hoping this animal gets the ol' injection.

If not then the good thing with the US is (unlike us) they hand down hyper-sentences for offences like this (200 years etc).

This will guarantee that this nutball leaves prison in a long wooden box.

Killing people, no matter how demonstrably guilty or evil, does damage to society. It isn't about not wanting to kill people out of sympathy for the evil person, its about not wanting to damage the rest of society.

We really need to stop giving these murderers attention, its what they want after all.

Of course it is also what the media wants, if this continues, i can bet that rampages like these will continue to rise on a monthly basis, this very rampage is proof to all would be "villains" that they will get their name in history, as USUAL.

As well as this, governments will use them as leverage for our liberty, of which there is no denying.

So ironically as per usual, the Public are indirectly pushing for their own docility, hilarious.

Posted a few pages back.

It'll be anti-psychotics he's been put on if indeed he does believe himself to be "The Joker". The sedative effects of drugs like Quetiapine are really really heavy. Hence why he looks like he's about to nod off at points in the courtroom.

Torture and humiliation first plz.

Also what i find reprehensible, people asking one of the characters in a film that is directly connected to the murders/hospitalisation.

Some of the victims might be fine with it, but i can guarantee, the sight of the main character will traumatise someone who is now forever inflicted with PTSD, they may actually never be able to witness anything at all related to it, which frankly is an equally evil crime.
