Yes well, I happen to be a firm believer that what Nolan has done is create HIS own universe for HIS version of Batman. Taking elements from various comic book sources and mixing it all together to create this trilogy of his. Adding extra twists and turns that not many of us would have expected. If anything, the ending was really good.

And it also helps that I am a big DC Comics fan ;)

Anyway, back on topic lol.
 
Yessss!!! I ran a couple of screen fix apps, let it warm through a bit. The crystals must have settled because its not noticeable now. Before it looked like something was spilt on the left. Now it has settled in.

The display on this one is a lot richer than the last, colours look like my Galaxy Nexus display.

Might be onto a winner at last! lol
 
A mate at work is trying to convince himself to get one so i took mine in yesterday and he brought in his £80 7" tablet to compare them. I think he'll be ordering before the weekend is over :D

One minor niggle I have, which may be related to my stupidly big hands and fingers more than the Nexus 7, is when typing I sometimes hit the home button when going for the spacebar. Damn annoying.
 
Picked mine up yesterday, really not had much time to play with it, but I'm already pretty pleased. Not noticed anything particularly wrong with it, but I'm not going out of my way to do so. If something happens and I notice it, it'll go back...

First thing I notice is how much I miss my sense widgets for calanders and to-do lists etc from my HOX. What sorta widgets are you guys running? Lets see some screenshots :D

Get Thumb Keyboard, enable "Show cursor key row", sorted. :) Best keyboard I've used, particularly for tablets.

Hmm, I've just tested this. I called myself from a second phone, around 20 seconds after I hung up, it came up on the tablet. Now I've text myself, 5 minutes later, nothing has come through on the tablet.

They both show as connected. Am I missing something?

**EDIT** Nevermind, it seems to be working now...

In an attempt to get the thread back on track, the two best things I have done are as follows:

1) Used BS Player and ES file explorer to stream movies from my PC (including playing DTS sound). I believe Dice can also be made to do this with some tweaking, however BS and ES work flawlessly together without adjustment.

2) Firefox and flash work perfectly together. Other browsers are unstable with Flash but Firefox has it nailed. I extracted a flash apk from my phone using ES File Explorer, emailed it to myself and installed on the nexus. Then I installed Firefox to get a stable browser that can handle flash.

Any other must have tips?
 
Has anyone tried the NFC with Google Wallet on the Modaco ROM yet? I've got my $10 credit but I don't want to go to Greggs or McDonalds and make a fool of myself. ;)
 
Picked one up this morning. Doesn't seem to have any of the issues mentioned in the thread and it's an awesome device. Trying to decided whether I can justify keeping it though already owning an iPad.

Apears they are back in stock at Tesco now - wonder if that signifies a new batch / production run or just more released from their supplier.. *ponders*
 
So I just bought one, brought it back to work: Dead pixel! Gutted! Pretty central too, so it would really wind me up for sure.

Legal rights in demainding refund or perfect replacement?
