Cant even bare to play this game any longer, it just doesn’t change at all, its more repetitive then world of war craft so im thinking of selling all my gear for gold on my 2 60's, should hopefully end up with 30million or higher, and then sell the gold for real cash on ah and use it to buy a few months subs for wow before expansion comes out.

Just dont want to sell everything and then blizzard release some really cool new features or expansion that drasticaly improved the game, cant see that happening though.

yet another request for a bit of guidance, heres my barb which im having real trouble with nearing the end of act 2.

any basic info or things ive got wrong then let me know

I have killed Belial with less health then you..

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Fafa-2124/hero/4091930

Touched the enrage twice before he died.
My main point was increasing the block chance shield with extra chance 9% +above 26% white block . Basically stood in front of him and sucking the dmg using the health globes that were spawning almost on me and running away from the green nasty stuff :) making sure that Battle rage up all the time +bersek straight from the beginning + 2nd time right at the end.

Sounds good, I've already got a level 60 barb.
What kind of price am I looking at?

I've got 850fg to invest.

Have a look at my profile, I don't think my character is anything special but it is able to farm act 3 pretty quickly and it is survivable to most threats. The items cost me perhaps around 40 million+. You can however do it on a lower budget for sure. For example, I was using a blue mace as my primary (with 890dps, 90crit dam) until recently that I picked up for next to nothing and it was still quite capable of farming.

I think optimally you are looking at getting a high dps/crt dmg primary hand mace/axe, 1000LoH, 40k vit, 600 res all (before buffs), around 40-50 crit hit chance (including passives) and as much critical dmg and strength as possible.

And here is what you want to aspire to for a top MF double WW barb (if money was no option!) - https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Moldran-2176/hero/272819

Ok I'll work on it :)

Here's mine at the moment, http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/yhack-2217/hero/8881695

Last time I played I was in Act 4 Hell having difficulty clearing it, getting eliminated fairly quickly from the special monsters. I'm guessing my mistake is not having any resistances.
What should I look to upgrading first?

you have a level 25 weapon on a level 41 mage, thats the thing that really stuck out on your stats, add me in game Xzenon#2611 and ill buy you something more fitting for your level on the ah dps wise and possibly a staff with higher stats than your off hand and wand put together for free plus i can give u a hand through the game if u want :)

might have some upgrades for you in my storage as well :)

ive got a demon hunter thats mowing through nightmare so could use the company or i could fly through it with my wiz for you :)

Thanks matey - have added you :)

Sacrfice some strength for all resistance and get a weapon with Life on Hit. You should be able to get some cheap upgrades which will help a lot in inferno.

I sold my first item for 800k this week. Highest amount yet. Quite surprising really. I don't remember exactly what the stats were because I had a lot listed. It's given me enough to get a half decent shield for my monk :)

Thanks for the reply. What sort of dps did you have? I'm thinking mine is a little low thats all.
I do struggle with some mobs though, as in cannot kill them, that might be user error though lol

Cheers. I traded some forum gold for 7million in game gold. An upgraded weapon with life on hit got me through Act 4 and Diablo easily :D

What advantage does 2 weapons have over 1+shield?

Well I completed Inferno with 1 weapon and a shield, I did this because it made me very survivable (and I didnt know of any other effective build). Having high resistances, loh weapon coupled with a shield with high block % makes things a lot easier.

However now that I am in a position with better core gear, 2 weapons allows me to use the double WW build. The main points (apart from it being more fun and quicker to farm) are that you can stack a lot more stats if you have 2 weapons. One of the keys to the double WW build is that you want to stack a lot of critical hit damage. With 2 weapons, you have the potential of 400% increased critical hit damage from the weapons alone (if each weapon had 100% base + a gemmed socket). Basically, the idea is that if you are using 2 weapons, your damage needs to be high enough to counter the loss in defense that a shield provides so that things die quickly enough to not cause you too much grief. With the double ww build, this is true but also having ~1000loh+ is very important since the cyclones hit many times a second to multiple targets, regenerating a lot of life and allowing you to survive. If you dont have loh with this build you wouldnt survive.

With the double WW build that I play, the main source of damage comes from the cyclones left by the run like the wind rune. These only use your main hands damage, but takes into account the stats on your offhand as well - such as crit damage, str, loh etc. This means that you can have a really high dps primary weapon and couple it with a low dps off hand which has really good stats on it.
Take a look at my gear again and you will see what I mean.

Hopefully that makes sense and gives you a bit of insight..

TL DR: sword and board good for survivability, particularly with lower end gear. 2 weapons gives potential for massive amounts of damage.

Maybe sacrifice some VIT and get more discipline? I found boosting mine to 49 massively improved by survivability as I could cast 4 smoke screens in a row then prep for another 4!

DPS is too low, all resists probably around half of what they should be. Remove Spike Trap as your using a bow and it's range is too big, you really need a crossbow for it to shine. In its place get Preperation with Battle Scars rune. You could do with a new weapon also, a 900 DPS bow with 100 dex and socket would beat what you're using.
