Taken with the outer point on the 5D mk ii (right side obviously) on a magpie moving very quickly over the roof of my next door neighbour and across two other neighbours gardens:

Got 4 shots off before it went behind another house, all of them perfectly in focus.

Using the same lens/body combo and the top right point I took this:

And on a completely different front, one form last night of a meteor!

Not 100% happy with it as the cloud cover, although thin, refracts the light making the stars look oval and the meteor look weird. Sadly its from the back garden as its the only place around here where I can try and remotely control the amount of light pollution, but didn't work very well as my next door neighbour turned the floodlight on right after I got this shot...

Some photos from a trip to Bakewell, Derbyshire, on Saturday just gone. I'm still sorting through the photos, here's what I've got so far. This trip was the first time I've taken the camera out with me on a day I'd not normally have a camera (other than my phone for lulz moments of course), if that makes sense!

Went fishing today and took my camera and got some rather interesting shots in amongst watching the rod tip for signs of fish eating my bait!

So started setting up my gear:

Whilst the tide was slowing coming in, took this as the placement of the buoy seemed rather fitting:

Finally got a strong bite, enough to strike it and see if I could actually land anything and this is what I got!

Just as we left:

Few other random shots from the day as it progressed at varying points:
