The Bourne Legacy

Ah, it takes place after the conclusion of the third Bourne film. Immediately afterward, it'd seem. Bit weird making the trailer seem like it takes place concurrently.

It might have been just my imagination/interpretation but I rather thought that Bourne was supposed to be the last one left from the Treadstone project - the rest having either failed already or he'd killed them after they were sent after him.

It's not an insurmountable obstacle and in the scheme of inplausibility that's involved it barely merits a mention probably but still if my previous interpretation was right then it's a pity they're ignoring the universe they've created.

I believe thay are saying there were several other programs also running doing similar things but in different ways. When Treadstone / Blackbriar went wrong they decide to wrap all the others up and terminate the agents...which is where this one goes.

Thats basically it.

From trailer I get main guy has been genetically modded or something? looks **** to me. Guy does a grind down a ledge on a motorcross bike... For no reason. Watching bourne ultimatum right now as well. Always really liked this trilogy.

Saw this earlier at a preview - its average and more like a spin off than a sequel.

Renner is def no Bourne!

Good, because he is not Bourne and it's not a sequel.

I'm not even sure it is the same story as the book (not written by Ludlum, but endorsed), which s great and as good as the trilogy.

Just watched it here in phuket , give it a 7/10 good but not as good as the previous 3.

Why are you in the cinema in Phuket, I know the Island is a bit average compared to others in the region, but get outside and enjoy yourself man!

It's Cocktail O'Clock!

Saw it earlier - extremely average movie. It's a bit like eating ready salted crisps straight after a bag of salt and vinegar.

Ed Norton was alright though I guess..
