Now the phone has been discovered spinning on T-Mobile's website among other phones that the carrier has to offer in the same shade of black. This one looks a bit different and has a finish akin to the white Galaxy S III instead of the fake brushed metal finish of the blue version. Then again, this is a render and shouldn't be representative of the final product.

Mrs Edrof has a year left to run on her SG2 contract with Orange, can you just call 'em up and get an upgrade? Should she be expecting to fork out a couple of £hundred for the new handset?
 
Wow, well I never, who could've foreseen a black S3 arriving in Autumn..

I probably would've got one but the Note2 has its appeal and I've got used to the Note and Nexus 7 combo, I'll know what the true stats and abilities of the Note2 are before the black S3 hits our shops so it should be an easy choice.
 
I was dead set on the Note2 till I put a Note in my pocket - It's a bit on the weighty side...I'm hoping the Note2 is a little lighter.

It will be a BLACK SIII or Note2 that replaces my SII - This much is certain.
 
Am I being particularly blind, or is there no way of removing the quick-settings buttons in the notification drawer?
 
Just seen that video on Flipboard.... Nice that the video shows it being a UK JB Rom... At least I assume it is due to the default setting on install being "English (United Kingdom)".

At last, the UK is pretty much top of the tree for International phones :cool:



Wish it would hurry up though, fed up constantly dismissing the current updated FW message as CBA flashing via Kies and re-rooting :p
 
Anyone figured out how to get your mobile number to show up in the status screen - Mine says unkown, quite frankly annoying hehe and being a micro sim, i dont have any other micro sim phones so im not sure i can pop it into another to change the number or whatever.
 
After watching that video I don't think I'm going to upgrade. There is still lag when opening the dialer and contacts. My current install of CM9 is so slick and has no lag.

Problem is Samsung will take forever to release the JB source so the memory leak problem in CM10 JB for S3 will not be fixed for awhile :(
