I just ignore the story after normal realy, just hit spacebar the whole time. But i think it would make sense to remove the story element at a certain difficultly it just becomes annoying.

Profile viewing for my own characters are always like that. lvl 1 barb with no gears as if I just newly created them. Tried refreshing hundreds of times and different browsers but still the same. Other profiles are grand tho
 
I don't understand why people spend so much on this game? Apeshiz I say.

I completed it a short while ago on Inferno and I think I spent about 300k on all my gear. My weapon only cost me a mere 12k. There was another wiz with me who spent in excess of 120 million. Granted, he was tanking and I was kiting but I still managed to stay alive through Act 4.

any tips for act 3 as a barb?
Is hp regen/loh a must have?

I'm glad some people are getting through the game on a lidl budget, seems like anything thats an upgrade without letting any of my current stats slide down is just so expensive. As i.ve said, i cant even scratch act 3 yet lol
 
You really need life on hit for Act 3, although resists, health and DPS are equally important. I can do Act 3 on my budget Barb with 40k hp, 800 all resist, 7.2k armor and 45k DPS with 850 LoH and 2.5% steal.

im having prblems boosting dps while maintaining my 900 ar. im currently at 22k dmg with no buffs. will reach 35k ish with battlrage with marauder and overpower with killing spree
 
I don't find the game responsive enough to deal with the act 3 elite packs. when I press 4 or 3 or move around it does not always respond. Does any one else have this problem? I am a quakelive player so i am used to very fast movement but i don't find that the movement is fast enough to survive the elite packs in act 3.

I was thinking may be it is due to my hardware setup ie it is a framerate issue. I do have low fps. especially when coop with 4 people in elite pack fights, it slows right down :(

Network issue maybe. Whats ur latency ingame?
 
Are you using a 2-hander?

On my barb I had to switch to dual-wield when I got to Act 2 inferno as the slow "swing time" with the 2-hander meant I couldn't get out of the fire/goo/poison/etc. fast enough.
Even though my DPS dropped a bit, my survivability went way up due to being able to avoid most of the environment damage.
 
i notice that abilites arent spammable, even though they light up. its like they have an internal cooldown?

AH is borked again for selling stuff.

and thanks for posting your character info flibby. thats a very nice offhand you have there, ive never seen anything like that on ah that i can afford.
you also have 3x the dps as my barb. im surprised that crit chance/damage provide such a huge boost to dps (not that ive done any research). my strength is similar so it must be the crit/+crit damage!

i have been gearing up for a lot more towards tanking, maybe thats where ive been going wrong but i just couldnt see me living long enough to do any damage at all if i dropped survivability :(
 
ive just spent the last of my gold on some more dps items. about 800k gold but ive got to 31k dps (mainly to do with damage modifiers within talents tbh, the 25% damge at full rage for one then 5%/50% crit and crit damage with wep master) and 42k hp. lost about 35% block though, time will tell if i can actually kill anything deep in act 2 now, i do feel naked :( and thats only the first few groups in act 2 aswell!
 
u should be able to do it now i guess. im currently farming act 2 with 600-800 AR its manageable but still plenty of deaths from packs with imba affixes. still trying to figure out if act1 is more efficient vs act2 farming
 
yeah i know exactly what you mean.
with my tanky gear on i can take on act 2 with only a handful of deaths, since trying this dps gear ive died 10 times already and it was only an hour or so ago!

as luck would have it though, ive had a weapon drop with pretty poor stats but 941 loh and 2.5% damage as health back. it has reduced my dps by 3k though but might make me live a bit longer! :D
 
How much gold do I need to be able to farm successively on ACT 2-4 on Inferno with either a Wizard or a Demon hunter..

Wanting to try get a legendary when the new patch hits, I have quite a bit of gold.. 25 mil atm but will be higher when some of my things sell.

I sold most of my wizard and demon hunter gear though so would be totally buying everything again? :)
 
Such a limited game to spend money on. I got to act 3 inferno ghom without spending a penny and hardly any gold, just cheap 3k pieces. Haven't even tried to beat Ghom yet and had enough. I imagine once I did beat inferno there'd be nothing left to play for.
 
So has anyone made any ££ this week? I've still yet to find anything or sell anything for real gold. It was the main thing that made me want to get to 60. Atm just on and off waiting for patch.
