) you sorted out antonio! Delighted to see him sort out a proper team for the guy, needed some stability to his career and not a bad player
Glad we've signed Buttner, he's got a lot of experience and at a good price as well. I would think he'll get a fair amount of playing time considering his age. I think we'll see him featuring regularly in both cups and a few in the league if all goes well.

He's a young player from their B side! I'm quite excited about him, hopefully he gets some game time Tuesday night so I can see him!
I'm pleased about Antonio too! He's still so raw, but clearly very talented, it all depended on Reading getting promotion, as I think they would have wanted to hold on to him in the Championship.
I'm really pleased that Dave Jones is bringing in young, exciting players and we're playing football again.
It sounds like De Rossi has snubbed Man City and is going to stay at Roma, I hope so.
(Press conference tomorrow afternoon about his decision so we'll know then.)
I suspected that was the case ever since the reports of Jovetic started appearing (some time over the weekend)
Havent seen much of the latter, but glad to hear De Rossi is staying where he is (even if some dont rate him on here)

Song has gone so not really too fussed about that especially reading about how lazy he is and his refusal to do anything the coaches or manager asks him to do. Hilariously he turned up 15 mins late for his press conference at Barca. Had a feeling he would go soon as Barca announced they were looking at him.

Can't understand the bitterness. Thought he made it clear he wanted to go to Arsenal after rejecting the so called swap deal with Spurs for Mordic before Liverpool even went in for him

I want the Sahin deal to be confirmed before i believe it . I was hesitant about the initial loan move but if we have the option to buy at the end and with the moving of Song it should be very good business for us.
Now..Lets sign Llorente! and M'vila! If we did i would be very happy. Cant wait for our next game to be honest.

That Song transfer for 15 million is just weird, first how it seems to have come out of nowhere and secondly I think he's a good player, but to Barca for 15 million? Never would have imagined that!

And as there is this contention of whether he is isnt a 'dm', well the suggestion he would get in ahead of any of forwards/mids at barce is just laughable

Should be confirmed in the next 24 hrs i think. I think we have a very good squad, probably better than what we had last yr although we had RVP carrying us. But its going to take some time for this squad ie Carzola, Giroud and Podolski to gel together although Carzola already looks like hes going to be an absolute beast of a player.
Im just hoping that we can get it together for the next game and bag a few goals to ease the pressure as the game against Sunderland didnt do us any favours.
Still not too worried, ill really worry if after 3-4 games we arent clicking.
Llorente and M'Vila would be superb signings for us if we get them but i cant see it happening as we have cooled our interest in M'Vila unless Rennes accepts £8mill from us and Llorente?? well havent really read anything about us being interested in him.
As for Song??, it was a weird transfer that was...up until Barca said they were interested, he was looking to sign a new contract with us. Will we miss him?? i dont think we will...he was far too prone to getting yellow cards with his mis-placed tackles and from what ive been reading, Wenger wasnt too bothered about letting him go as there seemed to be some issues with Song and his attitude plus he wanted £70k a week as well.

Well i suppose hes young so could be groomed to play for Barca first team at some point in the future.
But him selling him is a mind boggling one, i really didnt think Barca would be after him...i thought they might have gone for RVP instead really.
