Let's just say when we have the luxury of having all our defenders fit the likes of Terry, Luiz and Cahill wouldn't even make our bench

Guys, I think he's serious...

I very much doubt any of them would get in our first XI bar maybe Terry. Luiz is a liability quite often and Cahill is nothing special.

Well he is kind of right, assuming our starting two were Rio and Vidic then I'd rather have Smalling than any of those three on the bench  Terry is past it, Luiz is a downright liability and Cahill...well he's alright he's just nothing special.

Edit: Fez are you reading my mind?

Haha, I was going to add that I would rather have smalling than any of them as well!

He's not kind of right at all.
I questioned Man.Us defence tonight and he lolled at a Chelsea supporter saying Man'Us defence tonight is poor.

Edit: Looks poor for the pedants.

That doesn't change whether I think his statement is right or wrong

Well if you choose to look past his quantifying "Let's just say" point then I'm not going to bother, although no-one in their right mind can argue that DeGay, Val, Vid, Car, Evra are better than Chelsea's unit.

Terry is past it
very possibly, looked awful at times toward the end of last season.

Luiz is a downright liability
really? I seem to remember him being pretty good in a number of games last season, including that minor kickabout with Barcelona. I also remember a certain Mr. R. Ferdinand having some quite regular lapses in concentration at a similar age...

Cahill...well he's alright
indeed, good player for the squad, not a first choice.

I think Utd have the edge in choice of centre backs, but I think I'd pick Cole and Ivanovic ahead of Utd's full backs, and Cech in goal ahead of de Gea.
