I have been confided upon to bestow a small message to our fellow gym goers by one of our ever beloved lifters after he reached an almost indescribably idyllic number of posts on this great forum

RIP

He will be missed! :(

I tried some Beats by Dre headphones tonight, the in ear ones, the cables awesome (perfect length for the gym) and the buds stay in my ears, shame they're so damn expensive :(

10k posts for the win!

Did day 2 today.

Pull Up's 5x5
DB row 4x10
Dips 3x10
Face pulls 3x10
Leg Raises 3x8

Yep face pull are fairly easy to do. But sometime you have to do something first to know if its easy or not.

As for day three which is shapping up to look like this:

Leg Press 4x12
Military Press 5x5
Reverse lunge 3x8
Step ups 3x8
Lateral raises 3x10
Rear delt fly 3x10
RDL 3x8
Calv Raises
Pallof press 3x10

As I have leg issues, and really need to focus on them I have added the step up's as well as the Reverse lunge.

On to the RDL. I think its a little to advanced for me, even if I use DB? Can I leave it out?

---

On to food!

Since yesterday I cut out the sugar in my coffee and I dont eat before my swim.

How about comeing back from a gym session?

For instance today I eat 4 new potatoes, brocolli, turkey steak. Eating this at 9pm is not detremental to fat lose is it?

For my sweet tooth I had a 0% fat Activia yogurt... surely with all the excersies im doing thats fine right?

Also any suggestions for something to replace the bread I eat pre gym, that is easy to rustle up and will give me energy?

Two bits of bread and a piece of chicken is just so convinient.

---

The good news is I think the swimming inbetween is making me gain in wise I wasnt aware off.

Example, would be dips. The last time I dipped I was using 30kg assiatance on the dipping machine.

Today I had to drop it to 20kg straight away or it was too easy!

RDL's aren't advance, hopefully someone with more explaining skills can come along :p

The key is not to go too low, otherwise you'll just start bending at the back

I only thought they where advanced becuase in the mark riptoe video linked, he goes on to say that they are an advanced exercise.

The other issue, is althoigh DB have been suggested, the rack at my gym is a squatting rack, so not really possible to pull it out at the bottom.

Guess I can forget that and just continue with DB?

Don't knock until you try :)

The only reason they can be advance is due to the fact you need to load your hamstrings without compromising your spine while bending over...but it's no different than any other movement really.

Skill being a douche :)

Me?
