Papers say fergie is done with nani after Monday's game and he is to be sold cheap.

Does this mean we will rid ourselves of rooney, young, scholes, welbeck i.e those players who were equally bad?

Young was only on for a short time. Scholes did as good as he could for his age. He is just a short term fix remember. Welbeck did good, what are you talking about? Rooney was just Rooney.

Everton played too defensive, made Man U hold the ball too much. They shut us down like a boss. It was just one of those games.

lol, nice one Tel...

Obviously we don't get to really laugh at those predictions until the end of the season, but I have a feeling come May we'll be laughing hard ;).

I've never read so much tripe in my life. Can't believe I kept reading after Chelsea, let alone Tottenham.

Out of 20 teams he might just have gotten West Brom and Wigan in the right sort of areas (plus the title staying in Manchester seems a safe bet).

Everything else is comes out as shear embarrassment that he was once England manager.

Drogba scored 5 league goals last year, maybe he's right and £70m+ of new talent isn't enough to make up the difference this year :p.

Spurs on the other hand, well yeah it's obvious the only possible way is up for them, no hint of his bias there...

Liverpool at 5th also... I see nothing in their squad or how they played on Saturday that backs that up.

I wonder if english football will ever move away from thinking crossing the ball into the box is the dogs danglies? It's such a low percentage style of play when you think about it, I'm surprised it's not just another method of attack rather than the preferred method of attack that it still seems to be for so many teams.

LOL at the Tel predictions, seems to me that the Sun just threw some cash at him and he just made up his predictions:p.

Ill be shocked if Spurs end up above Chelsea this year in all honesty.

Hilariously good stuff from Tel.

I will see 7th as a disappointing season for Newcastle. But I'm pleased everyone is writing us off again, it keeps the pressure of us :D

Fergie is an old dog, they don't learn new tricks :p

In regards to Nani - Im guessing it depends on how focused the club are at this point on getting him signed up for a new deal (given that he has 2 years left on his present one) and how much of a payrise Nani is after

If Utd were offered £25m right now, they should bite the hand off - because I dont believe in 6 or 12 months time anything like that will be offered. Useful player to have but not exactly irreplaceable either

I wouldn't mind us shipping out Nani if we got a promising player in to replace him, and one who is less of a winger too, like Eriksen for example perhaps.
