Pretty annoyed, if I'm honest.

Couldn't get on all day, log on now in the PM after going AFK all day...

Desolation server now full as a Home world choice. Totally cut off from all my friends.

Sigh.

Hope it's not totally Locked, the wording is ambiguous...

You realise you can transfer right? Just pick a server log on in the morning when its quiet and transfer to desolation.

Chances are they're running a VM type environment and will be able to move resources to that server to cope with demand once they know it's stable-ish population.

It's probably too early to move resources already.
 
So, caved and bought it :(

Now, can someone tell me whilst I download the client (at a lovely 12meg a second might I add!!!). I am trying to verify my email, but the link in the email address is just giving me a error code. Do I need to verify my address to play?

You can make them with the armour professions - Armoursmith makes equipment bags, Leatherworker makes junk bags and Tailor makes crafting bags, that should help out a bit. Are you sending your crafting materials to the bank?

The camera settings in this game are terrible. It makes the movement and combat feel quite clunky - especially if you're playing a movement intensive class like Thief. I made several reports and suggestions about it in the Beta, but they didn't really change a thing. It's a real drawback imo :/

How are you downloading at that speed??

I usually download at 5meg a second!! only getting 400k at the moment!!

Yeah sending my stuff to the bank. I am also leveling amoursmithing.

I couldn't play my thief for this reason, making a tree ranger now, looks f'in sweet.
 
why is the camera bad? Hold down the mouse buttons and turn... crank up the mouse speed all the way and play..... its not hard

Why is a 6h queue the only other option.
This was an issue they fixed after beta weekend 1 but have re-introduced for launch.
It's a pretty basic feature - people in a group wanting to play together.
I guess everyone else here is just playing single player GW2!

Huge fail IMHO.
The servers may be up but we can't play together as a group.

I have a VERY nice connection :P

Steams sales are particularly fun :) And no, I don't live on or near a uni. This is a normal residence :)
