How can you say that? You've been much luckier than most of us. :)

Anyway, ownedcore is probably where you want to go if you're selling. Gimmie that staff though, lol.

How have I been much luckier? None of the legendaries I've found have been of great value. Finding legendaries doesn't make you lucky, they need to have value otherwise it's just like finding a crap rare.

Just got my second post-1.04 legendary drop:

Decent damage, but the lack of sought after stats (socket, crit damage, life on hit) means it'll probably not sell for much :(

That will still sell for a fair amount. 1 handed legendary with nearly a thousand dps and dex and vit. Few million at least.

Thinking of starting a hardcore character - anyone got thoughts on which class I should try?

Yeah I'm a little tempted to start a hardcore char to work on slowly. I'm considering Barbarian because of the shear number of powerful defensive skills they have and Wrath of the Berserker has the added benefit of rendering you immune to control effects while you beat the crap out of elites.

I could probably see myself reaching Lvl60 at a slow pace if I was careful but finishing Inferno is probably a long way off.

Monk, I've not came close to dying and got to Lvl 34 and into Nightmare quite quickly, my Hardcore Barb is only Lvl 10 and has had 2-3 close calls already. There's nothing quite like Serenity with Ascenion for that Oh @~:! moment.

I have played 150 hours and had not one legendary drop. Anyone else noticed that since 104 there is a less amount of high quality weapons available on the AH? Not sure if it related to 104 but maybe people are just using the best ones and not selling them. I have only had one good drop that sold for 9 mil everything won't sell now, even if i go as low as 80k.

Kind of hit a wall with my DH at the moment - I have about 10 million gold but my choices seem to be to splurge that all on very minor upgrades or try and save for a major upgrade which looks like it will forever be out of my price range.

Any suggestions?

Put your stats in here, or import them from the armoury: http://www.d3rawr.com/

It'll tell you what will give you the biggest boost in terms on DPS once you've calculated your DPS correctly. For example once I get my Skorn, adding +1% crit chance will give me near enough 1k dps, so a nice 4%+ ring will be a nice DPS upgrade for me.

Makes things a lot easier.

Argh. Not getting many decent drops however.

I've had 12 different rare plans drop in the last 4 hours.. 6 prop **** hammer etc, very very weird. Maybe I'm destined to be a crafter :/

Awesome post.

Thanks very much for that.

You can make a melee Demon Hunter? wtf!!!
I'd seen people say Melee Wizard. Never really thought about making a normal ranged class into melee.
