Tell us your best break-up stories

About 10 years ago here.... Surprised her with an early trip home, only to find her in bed with 2 guys. One guy "busy" with her, the other guy rolling up an illegal narcotic.

It didn't really bother me, it actually made me laugh as she didn't even seem that guilty or sorry. I just left them at it, I told them not to bother/worry, I'm off. It was just the excuse I needed to get out of that vitriolic relationship. She was a troubled woman, with more issues than time magazine. Actually treated me like ****, and I just kept going back for more... (she was rather good looking and had an "interesting" profession). However, I was young, ignorant and stupid.

So yeah, that was fun....

This is so French it's practically a Baudelaire poem.

In school, I had a girlfriend of about 4 months.. 'hey'.

Anyway, when the summer holidays came I actually forgot about her.. never once tried to contact her for six weeks. I remembered I had a girlfriend when she dumped me the first day back.

:(

And this is why I avoid relationships! Having **** buddies is working nicely for me these days.

Indeed, although a have no idea who Bro Dalair is.

For every tale you tell, I will double it. Does that sound fair? I think I have to tell two anyway but we can parallel process this if you're up and awake. I desperately want to hear about your break-up stories.

I dated a girl for 6 months, texted her one night to say it was time to move on. She appeared at the door the next day in tears just as I was about to head out with another bird. Good times :D

Whoa!...what did she do...was she bangin some other dude on the side?

Got pretty serious with an ex, looking at flats etc so I could move to Aberdeen and live with her.

Applied for a job, went to interview and it was really positive.

Flew back to Birmingham, she kept on ringing me asking me to help her find directions around a loony hospital - I told her to go away she went crazy told me it was over.

Few weeks later she came to Birmingham to visit a mutual friend, I have a call at 0300 in the morning from my friend crying saying that she thought my ex was dead.

Turned out she was so crazy for attention she ran to a church, pretended to pass out in the grounds and was non responsive.

Once the paramedics turned up she assaulted them before escaping.

Could suck a golf ball through a straw though.

Do you really want to hear mine?

I've been speaking with the ex this evening and it seems she's moving on which has made me feel a lot better.

She did say something quite strange but I'll leave that for now until I've had time to think about it properly :)

Yes. I thought this thread was going to be filled with uplifting, warm stories from goons who had dealt with A Thing and then moved on but it hasn't worked out that way, mostly because my OP was terrible.

i'd really like to hear your story if you want to share.

e : I'm still thinking of how to phrase my two stories. I think Inkursion is going to be thrilled!

tried to break up with a mental ex once. while driving she freaked out for reasons i cannot fathom to this day. she started kicking the dash which annoyed me and then she grabbed the keys out of the ignition which caused the steering lock to come on. managed to just about get the car onto the hard shoulder and after a huge row i got the keys off her after she punched me in the face. drove off and left her on the by pass.

she is still alive and mental.
