I'm getting so many at the moment, large ones too.

My neighbour has just cut his grass, And it was a jungle! 5 foot high easily, basically he just couldnt be bothered with it. Well they've cut the lot down, and ofcourse spiders are now looking for new homes. I've seen going on 10 in the past week 2 inch going on 3 inch, Yucky.

My cats are loving their visits however!

Although I'm fedup of cleaning up spiderguts

We also have a rat, that has obviously vacated his garden too. Lovely..

It's beyond me why people could be scared of spiders but I suppose my fear of sharks could be described just as irrational. But spiders, meh, they can crawl over my face for what I care :p

It's not the spiders I hate this time of year, its the daddy long legs. More annoying than russell brand.

If you see this in the shops I'd not bother buying it as not only was it useless, it actually attracted wasps to where it was sprayed. :(

I have no problem with the spiders, just wish they were more efficient in my room, had a nice big wolf spider climb my wall next to me last night, stopped to look at me and then promptly fell off the wall, my spiders are inept can I replace them with some of your unwanted spiders?

The tally for today is one and I've only been up for 30minutes. Medium sized in the kitchen. Stomped then eaten by the dog.

I dread this time of year, my bedroom is a haven for house spiders, I cannot tell you how many seem to pop up on my curtains or I'll see running along my bedroom floor, its scary. It's led me to actually buying a spider hoover off ebay! :p :o

What bunch of whimps!

I love spiders, such wonderful little creatures and it’s great to see them all out and about at this time of year.

I have exactly this one too! Apparently it works better with a decent battery, like a high-powered Energizer or Duracell. Not a Tesco value 9V.

Tried it on small spiders, it works nicely. In my experience it's so far better than the spider catcher because you can easily 'miss' with that one, which can prove disastrous.

It didn't fall off. It realised you'd spotted it and bugged out to approach you from another direction ;)
