US official killed in embassy raid in Libya

Wordy,
The trouble is it's not individuals doing it. It's a large group. In separate locations. At separate times. All in the name of their religion.

It's not exactly an isolated incident or a rare occurance is it?

You only answered part of my post, why did you ignore the International Red Cresent part?

To answer your question.....Compared to how many muslims there are in the world? Yes this is extremely rare.

So now I've answered your question will you comment on the link to the International Red Cresent I provided as a counter to your arguement?

Trigger, in your earlier post you said he deserved it.

Not only is your next post in complete contradiction of that but the man killed had NOTHING to do with the eejit who released the film!

Oh I recognise entirely that there's ONE SINGLE agency that does promote peace and love amongst them. You could almost say amongst the many factions promoting war and hatred that it's a minority, no?

You haven't even bothered to click on the link have you?

Whoa whoa whoa, don't take his name in vain Wordy! Oh wait, wrong religion.

Yeah I clicked on the link, sadly I can't find any details among it of the religious status of it's members so i'd say my arguement that it's one organisation holds. Granted it is made up of smaller 'societies'.

Ccombined the IFRC has 97 million volenteers, the Internation Red Cresent is recognised in 33 Islamic states, so no your arguement doesn't hold.

I'd wager there are a lot more muslim volenteers in the IFRC than there are people willing to kill because of Muhammed's name taken in vain.

How come you are willing to judge everyone of the islamic faith on the acts of a tiny manority but unwilling to judge them on the much larger group volunteering towards humanitarian causes the world over? Is it because it doesn't fit with your bigotted views that muslims only do bad things, or because you genuinely didn't know of such an arganisation?

Billions of dollars were spent by the US and the UK during a massive recession supporting these people to overthrow Gadaffi, and they then start killing US officials. It seems like one set of thugs were exchanged for another set.

Now the sheeple are beginning to see that they were supporting hardcore Islamists all along during the so-called 'Arab Spring' and the 'democracy' slogan is just one huge lie. These same sheeple are swallowing the anti-Assad propaganda at the behest of the Zionist powers while William Hague funds Al Qaida in Syria with our tax money.

This is what happens when you have a controlled media with unthinking masses.

You'd wager it but you don't have any proof, I bet a great many of those members of the red cross and red crescent don't have any particular affiliation with religion at all (I also have no proof of this as, like I stated no numbers are available). I've donated to the red cross a number of times for it's humanitarian appeals and I don't have any religious affiliation (not that i'm an athiest). You've been able to come up with one organisation. A simple google search would turn up many more violent ones.

And i'm not judging on a tiny minority, i'm judging on a constant stream of events where their religion is used to justify murder, violence, intolerance and oppression. Even you can't try and say that this is just an isolated incident and nothing like it has happened before. I'm not saying other religions are innocent either, infact some of the acts carried out in the names of most religions sicken me.

Well no one likes the US in their country. They have been known for corruption and control. Cant blame them tbh. Anyways, who cares? its their problem not ours. Let the yanks deal with it.

If only that were true, but our butt-kissing politicians will ensure that British lives are lost for American wars. After all the most important thing is to ensure that retired PM's and other senior UK politicians can make a very lucrative living on the US lecture circuit.

Well said, he's trolling, leave him to it.

On a side note, any loss of innocent life is a sad sad situation, simple.

you're right I don't have any numbers as I'm at work and don't have the time for a search for IFRC numbers by country. Let me ask you honestly, do you think an organisation as large as the IFRC will have a smaller repentation in muslims countries that thugs and murders in muslim countries?

The religion isn't forcing them to do anything, it is the individual/s that is making a conscious decision to carry out the action, therefore the individual/s is to blame.
There are 100's of millions of muslims who have have made a conscious decision to not to get involved in any acts of violence, why not judge muslims on that rather than a tiny minority of thugs?

To quote Steve Weinberg

"With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil — that takes religion"

I agree entirely that it is limited numbers of people, not the whole lot, however just because other followers (and I agree, the majority) don't commit violent acts, doesn't mean that the faith itself is not intolerant and violent.
Not every Nazi killed a Jew. Infact, i'd bet the majority didn't
