Kate Middleton topless..

Why are these types of pics always such bad quality? Surely they could afford some decent kit with the obscene amounts they get for photos like this?

Depends what you call a right I guess... I'm not sure how I could arrive at the conclusion that I have a right to not be looked at by another person from their own or public property.

Well, there are thousands of laws that protect privacy, even some wide reaching laws at the highest level, including Article 7 of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights (which I'd be very surprised if this wasn't put forward by Kate's council).

You of course can argue all day about what should be private and what shouldn't be, but I'd argue taking pictures of people naked and exposing them is grotesque.

My thoughts.

She's a "royal" (I'm not going to get into my republican waffle don't worry) and as such should be a bit more careful.

The pap are scum all over the world.

A bad combination.

It's unfortunate, but to me, it's really not a big deal. It's just a woman going topless. So what?

...
is dissapoint.

Just stupid from all parties. It's not like a magazine is going to see a huge amount of sales from such a story these days, seeing as it's all over the net in a matter of seconds....although I suppose any publicity is good publicity, etc. The photographer is a douche and should have realized that this sort of thing isn't acceptable anymore. Kate should have known better than to step outside with her goods swinging in the breeze. Yes, of course they should have privacy, but common sense dictates that when you're one of the most famous couples in the world you're asking for trouble if you go "puppies out".

If the magazines are willing to pay hundreds of thousands for pics like this, then you can't blame the togs for taking them. In fact, blame the public who buy the magazines to see the blurry pics.
