You put two items in, one on each side (have to be the same type of item). then for the top, middle and bottom, you click one side or the other to decide what look, stats and add-on the new item will have. So if you just want the look of a lower level item, you click that item on the top, then the newer item on the next two levels down, and then click transmute.

WvW was a trifle unrewarding today. Spent my time getting blown to pieces by multiple trebuchets and running in to zergs that I didn't see until the final few seconds... We did have commander earlier in the day too, but apparently that was all just a waste of gold. :D

On a slightly wry note, I don't quite understand how Desolation is rated so highly. Whenever I pop up on the borderlands servers it's just a mess of ranting and zergs getting obliterated on bridges for no discernable purpose.

At the time, 53. My damage as on a bit on low side as I was trying to change weapons during the event :o, and he went down fast.

Annoying really as sometimes you can just waltz in to an event right at the end, say 'Hi guys, good job' and still grab a bag load of phat loot.
 
Desolation are awful at WvWvW. I hope things improve. The only thing keeping me on the server is my guild. Otherwise I'd be jumping ship.
 
WvWvW in desolation is poor because everyone signed up to the highest pop server for easy wins. The actual average quality of the WvWvW players is very poor.

neither does desolation which is why a lot of the time theres no queue in borderlands and after midnight generally eternal doesnt have a queue either.

vizunah however have the french canadians
far shiverpeaks have some hardcore russian guilds

desolation doesnt really have any guilds that stand out in wvw.

far shiverpeak queues are 3-6 hours long btw so a lot of people must have transfered there, where as desolation queues tend to only be 20-60minutes recently

maybe you think vizunah are really so good they can take the whole map

they win simply because of the nightime population its like an american server fighting a european one

We in Neilean had our first crack at the first dungeon last night (yeah yeah, like I said, we level slow :D ) , Ascalonian Catacombs or whatever its called. Got to say that it was immense fun, loved the traps and things, loved the layout of the dungeon, loved the aesthetics. Loved that there was a little more to it than just run, spank trash mobs, kill big guy, spank trash mobs, kill big guy, exit. We had a hell of a time with the 2 lovers, Regala and Vassar. But enjoyed it thoroughly, took us quite a long time to do it, something like 3 and a bit hours. But enjoyable and hoping to try again tonight or tomorrow night. :)
 
Great Tomb glad to see it's coming along. I've started my 4th reroll can't decide between engineer, ranger and warrior they are all so much fun to play. I've decided to try all races and all styles first. Loved the death star city of Charr it's fantastic, however i can't seem to find the top level of it. Anyone else still below lvl 10 and just wandering around?

Yes I know I'm the slowest leveller ever. Spent 1 hour just wandering around last night getting sucked into events here and there.
 
I can't get into this at all, just not my cup of tea (mostly due to me having very limited time with a 2 year old daughter).

I'm sure selling my account isn't allowed but can I give it away? Would rather someone else used it since I can't see myself ever playing it properly.

Yeah I've gone through all of the classes for the first several levels to see which ones I like, I have now finally settled on 6 classes, so I have 6 characters which I chop and change through :) (I just failed to get on at all with the Ranger or the Engineer, but thats not a surprise as I've never been big on similar classes in past MMOs).

I'm like that, I spend ages just pootling around, taking screenshots and mucking about with dyes. I *can* level extremely fast when I want to, but I find doing that actually reduces my enjoyment of the game, turns it into work almost, so I just pootle about mainly.
