***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Wanam's ROMs always have the best blend of mods and tweaks IMO so yeah I've used it a long time and have tried other good ones like OMEGA/CheckROM.

Main thing for me is long press volume to skip tracks, means walking to and from work in the rain is not an issue changing music!

Many thanks downloading now, I'm coming from Revolution 9.0 which has been jerky as hell for me, I won't need to wipe I take it?

Thanks

they always advise to full wipe

best thing is, do a backup of your data and flash it without full wipe

if you get random FCs then full wipe time, will do the phone good!

use the mirror i posted above for a faster download :)

FC's?

Ive only had my s3 a couple of weeks and this last rom has put me right off, I just want smooth and reliable .... thats all

At the GL and he 2mb connection is making me sad lol

It's never wise to cross roms without full wipe but if it works without it then cool.

Wanamlite is very good. Can't fault it at all

Try it :)

New Wanam JB seems fine so far, set up and currently restoring titanium backup.

Shame the notification bar is still dark grey and not pure black though on JB. Will wait for a JB theme for AOSP icons/bar.

Hi Guys. Anyone know the cheapest place to get these sim free in the UK?

I too would like to know the best deal on one :)

I have a feeling it may be a good idea to wait for the nexus though? However -does anyone know if the storage // battery will be fixed in them?

Chances are they'll not have any microSD storage, no Nexus device has. Although I'd be happy for them to break the trend, but I think Google will make sure that they ensure that anyone using the Nexus name will obey their rules.

What's the battery issue though?

For the record, I ran CM10 for over a week or two without any restarts...

Guess you were lucky :p

Didn't matter anyway, seems like the latest build of CM10 has fixed the memory leak.

I was reading the discussion thread earlier and saw codeworkx merged the source kernel from the i9305 and released an experimental build. Has it been pushed to the nightlies?

edit: Latest nightly hasn't fixed the memory leak. It's only fixed in the experimental mod that codeworkx posted up. hwcomposer/video bug is still there though.

I meant fixed internally mate - ie non removable!

Will depend entirely on the manufacturer and if google want it.

For the HTC nexus device, possible. for a samsung device, very unlikely.

But no way of knowing for sure.

Don't bother getting anything yet Mike, no point with so many phones coming out soon.
