can JC patterns drop from regular mobs or are they only from bosses or elites?
never had one

Think its both, had a few drop over the last week. Pretty sure iv missed a load tho, not keen on the blue either!

current bid is 13 mil

171 strength
95 vit
65 all res
40 cold res
2 sockets
+ 206 armor

The star plans were worth 2.8 mil each
and I had these on AH and Diablo is down atm. Does the auction pause or?

Because the current bid was over 30 mil..

can anyone give some tips / advice on my monk?
I can do act3 but with a huge reliance to groups and since most of the time i am grouped with people of my caliber the group usually dissolve fast

Act 2 is easy but I want to move to act3 without relying too much to parties

You need more dps, 50k +. So work on your crit chance and crit damage. Get 10k more HP. Everything else is fine.

Your weapons DPS is pretty shocking. Simply upping the dps by 200-300 per weapon would give you a massive boost.
You've lost a chance for quite a bit of extra dex/vit on your chest/pants with the lack of sockets but they aren't too bad. Your pants would be the first of the 2 I'd upgrade.
You should definitely look at your amulet, rings and gloves before any other gear (bar weapons). Getting all res on the gloves is a waste. You need to focus on crit chance/damage and high dex with vit and/or attack speed as a nice extra. Your current pair have very nice dex and crit but the all res is a small amount and wasted. The amulet is a little weak. The crit chance could be higher, as could the dex, but the vit on it is dreadful. The rings are similar. The one with fire res isn't bad but the other is pretty bad.

He already has very high crit chance. Infact, its higher than the monks you linked. His critical hit damage is probably a little lower but still not far off. The main problem is his weapons.

I was fine doing it with half that dps! All dps does is speed it up as long as other stats are ok. I cant look at your profile atm but will later on

Everyone needs more DPS. 25k is boring and slow and mobs hurt more without it. Aim for 50k+ in Act 3.

Depends entirely on your class, skill set, gear, playstyle and your own ability.

have done it with a barb and monk so far. Barb was harder but still doable, mainly because i had no regen or loh etc. Monk was a cake walk in comparison. As i said, monks have higher dps than their character screen if spec'd right due to cyclone.
Getting to 50k plus isn't as easy as it sounds, well it wasn't for me but i was on a very small budget. Still am infact
