Guild Wars 2

In low rank sPvP it is also common for warriors to use axe/shield as alternate weapons so that if you survive the charge/frenzy/rage/stability/100B combo, they can still leap and eviscerate you and have the shield to stun interrupt any heal.

That's what I do in sPvP anyway, since I don't do it much I'm low rank so such simple builds are a good choice, although come up against a player who knows what to do and you are useless against him.

In WvW I can see the appeal of using GS as you have a throw ability which snares them, a charge ability to catch up to someone, and do good dmg, but personally I wouldn't go for a bull charge/frenzy/100B setup in WvW as it focuses too much on signle target stuff.

Another day another 150 MB patch, any way to find out what they are patching daily?

Ahhh great now i can't login :(

Yep,

Playing 10 Strenght, 30 Defense/Tactics

Using mace/shield and hammer, love it so far very versatile and offers great support for group/dungeon play.

What gear are you running with?

I have full berserkers and a full set of clerics which isn't soulbound yet. Debating on whether I should sell it or use it in a shout / banner setup.

Ultimately would love shamans (Healing / Condition damage / Vit) but isn't craftable nor a karma reward.

Just got 2 shotted in seconds by warrior 1v1.

Bull charge, greatsword swing, hundred blades.

I was dead before I could even use a skill. wtf is this? Am I missing something or gw2 is not aware of this gross imbalance?

caLLED dodge.
Learn to see the animation/hear sound of the ability and then dodge it.
as far no warrior been able to do that to me as a elementalist, so easy to dodge.

You sound condescending, I don't like that, choose your words better next time.

You're elementalist, a ranged class, I am guardian a melee class. You dodge away when people approach you to get to melee range, I on the other hand approach everybody and very happy if they come in range themselves.

People already helped me out, by telling me to stay range when I see greatsword warrior and they did it without sounding like an donkey.

Constantly get them from china, since launch, never changed password, didn't have a problem at all, and as far as password security thingies that many web sites offer my password is very bad.
It's quite odd actually, played pretty much every mmo since wow and never had my account hacked ever, even with me crappy password

Guardians have a huge number of defences against classes especially Warrior Nerusy, have a look at this for ideas ( commentating only starts after about 90s):

I'm not saying you suck btw, I'm probably worse! but it's a learning game, let's not scream for nerfs on classes straight off the bat - that attitude has ruined so many games over the years :(

I do wish people actually read the comments before replying, as I said "am I missing something or are warriors OP", turns out I was missing something. As, if that thousand swords attack(which is stationary) is evaded, then warriors become easy to deal with. I even made a post stating that in fact as it turns out I did miss the fact that warriors are apperently useless if that attack fails. Notice how I didn't call for nerfs and merely asked the great OcUK community for elaboration, which Dist was kind enough to provide.

While the rest of community decided to call me of course bad and add inevitablity how they're so awesome that they never get killed by that move and I should learn something called dodge.

On the other hand I should be thankful that there was at least one person nice enough to be helpful >_>

I really don't think there is a OP class in this game. Sure some are a bit more of a pain in the ass but they are nothing special. You just got to keep moving and make use of any stuns/dazes/blind and evading. Its amazing how many people I see in spvp that simply do not dodge at all and then wonder why they die so much.

Dodging is a massive MASSIVE thing to use as it will get you out of crappy situations like that. You just got to have a plan on how to deal with these sorts of players. With my Mesmer if I see a warrior with a GS coming towards me I will keep my distance as much as possible the min I see him charging I have several things to stop him, I can slap him with Signet of Domination (stun), if I have clones up I could shatter Distortion, Illusionary Counter or I could Moa him (always good fun) theres more I could do blinds etc.. (I'm not going to list them all) so I have plenty of things to stop that initial charge once that is done all I then need to do is make sure I do not stop moving, dodge as much as I can and ensure I am weapon swapping well to keep ablities rolling. I keep my illusions/phantasm's out which I love doing confuses the hell out of people and does some nice damage.

I think weapon swapping is another thing that a lot of the "zergers" forget about. I hate to bash on them but warrior zergers I rarely see weapon swap they always seem stuck with their GS so their CD's are their biggest weakness.

But it is one of those things you need to learn the other classes and what they can do to you. Then practise against them. So when you see a warrior running towards you wielding a massive GS you can pretty much guess what he want's to do. So then with good knowledge of your class/build/skills you already know how to counter it just a matter of excuting it.

Check the OP theres list of "ocuk" guilds. Most seem to be on Desolation. But check the OP out though for guild references.

What the heck….

It came straight into my inbox not junk!

I previously had bought GW2 from CJS-keys but had a refund after it came out they were stolen. Never bothered buying the game after than.

Is it likely i still have access to the game despite a refund from CJS keys?

That's the standard automated email when your account email address is changed, but I thought they had disabled that function due to the recent spate of account thefts?

Basically, changing the email address requested no verification steps whatsoever, so someone with access to your email account would go the GW2 site, try using your email address and password and, if it was correct, change the email address on the account to their own.
