Was in Div 1 FUT and got relegated which I was quite happy about tbh, So many pace abusers and I just got murdered. I get back into div 2 and again lots and lots of pace abusers, most people seem to have Podolski or Hernandez. I even got put up against someone in div 2 that had a full barca team (expect messi). Prob going to get relegated to div 3 which I think will be for the best.
I'm really do not know how to improve my game except make a new team. I seem to struggle to make a decent attack
the min I get even near the opponents box they seem to have like every player on the pitch there to defend. They then get the ball off me smack it up the pitch for one of their ST's to run on and smash it in the goal
I really like my Bundesliga team when I don't come get matched up with pace abusers. It makes for some really good games when in my eyes playing real football
slowly building attacks. But it just seams now its all about super fast ST's and long through balls.
I also seem to struggle to handle the ball like hell. It seems either my player receives a pass and knocks it on to far or they stand there are guard it but then I just get a defender run into my player and steal it. How are you guys controlling the ball ? do you use L2 (L trigger) constantly to keep control or both triggers to do that side stepping thing ? It just seems whenever my ST's get the ball they just get charged off the ball and I lose it almost immediately its getting really really annoying now ! please gief some tips for ball control I beg of you !!!!!

Is it weird that I'm finding control easier in this game than ever before? Occassionally it bobbles away, but at the same time it's much easier to user your player's body to keep a defender off. It actually feels like you can shield the ball properly.
Adsta, I tend to get the ball and immediately turn away from their defenders - usually this will mean taking a few steps with the ball back towards your own goal, but it gives you space to turn again and pick a pass. Just play patiently and wait for space. When you get closed down on the opponents box, don't be afraid to play it back to your CM or DM and bring them into play as well. One of my top scorers is Toulalon, as a lot of my goals come from playing the ball forward, holding it among my ST, CF, and CAMs, then laying it off to a DM in space and having a pop. It's so easy to score long shots on this that it's a pretty viable tactic.
And don't hold R2 when running onto a ball unless you absolutely have to, it's almost guaranteed to make you lose the ball. Run towards it, release R2, then use the right stick to flick the ball forward. It achieves the same thing and keeps your pace up, but you'll keep the ball better.

I really want to try a Brasilver 4-1-2-1-2 but no idea on players to go for, never had oen before, will probably try kelevin on RM, but aside from that no ideas, Wallyson I know is great but at 100K+ I'm not sure! Don't wanna go all out pace abuse, but ideally 4* skillers+ on the front 5?
Any ideas would be appreciated, and a perfect team idea might even be rewarded!
Selling the Serie A side I think, gonna give them one more shot tonight but I'm not thinking that 4231 is for me, although Di Natale is brilliant!

Just got relegated to division 2, it's such utter ******** I don't even know if I can be bothered to play this game as much as I played 12, I'm only playing it now because PES is dog turd. In my last game I had Defoe outjumping Bruno Alves, he scores two headers this way.

It wouldn't be a FIFA thread on OCUK if it didn't have Kill moaning about the game, right?
In a CM spot I'd go for Oscar over Lampard purely for the fact he has mid/mid so will just sit and ping passing around. Fatty Lamps won't be able to move anywhere so is wasted

Nice one, thanks mate, might just look at soe of the 3* Strikers too and maybe 4-5* Wingers, seem to be using the wings a lot more now than i was back in '12.

Yeah they kind of didn't last long, not because they were rubbish, just the fact I don't think I'm good enough yet to whore Silvers against Golds. The only think that let them down was the defence. Not the best. You can make a 4* skill team with 15k easily though. Might be worth going down that route first.

I usually make strikers play with back to goal, take a pass in and return it to a midfielder running into space or spread it wide for a cross. Don't try and turn to face goal or it will get stolen off you.
It works well if you get a striker just to touch it into space for a midfielder to run onto, then the striker will make a forward run dragging defenders away so you can control the ball and get a shot off with the midfielder near edge of area.
