MBP 15" retina 3-4 weeks!!

I got mine too Hellarda, absolutely love it. i nearly didnt get one after all the negativity but I am struggling to find fault with it.

I had already ordered it when I saw most of the problems which did make me panic a bit but now that I have it its perfect! cant find anything wrong with it all, screen is beautiful and doesn't suffer from IR.
 
Does anyone else's rMBP emit a very faint buzz from the keyboard when you turn the backlight on? Mine is doing that and it isn't a huge issue since I often use it with the backlight off anyway, but there are times when I use the backlight (like when I'm lying in bed just browsing) and I can hear it when I turn head and 'point' my ears towards the keyboard. I'm a bit hesitant to swap it in case I end up with an LG screen... My dad's 17" MBP doesn't buzz when the keyboard backlight is on, so there must be an issue with the backlight circuit on my rMBP.
 
Cheers, going to get it replaced on Friday when I have the time.

EDIT: Had it replaced today, first replacement was an LG screen, was going to walk out with it but decided to have a look at the demo models, the difference in image retention between the Samsung and LG screens was way too much (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign have grey backgrounds so the IR would show up every time I switched docs), so I replaced it again, luckily the third one has a Samsung screen and a keyboard that doesn't sound as if a bee was trapped in it. Happy with it now, shame about the lottery that you have to go through to get a perfect model though!

Just got my MacBook Pro, it's crazy fast :eek:

Spec 2.7, 16gb, 750gb

My old was not that slow but started to show its age, this thing is crazy quick :cool:

Nice os update, very nice features been added

Also fans sound loads better at 4500rpm

Just took delivery of my 15" one, still trying to remember how to use OSX again. What cover/case/bag do you recommend? I was thinking of getting one of the soft sleeves for it. Already noticed a slight scratch on the lid which was like that when I got it and don't particularly want it to scratch any further.
