BMW and M Power Owners

Thanks, don't know why I'm so paranoid ;)

All booked in, £800 inc VAT fitting, hoping for a nicer ride!

Anyone ever used these Vredstein tyres on an E92 M3? As much as i think tyres are a complete rip off ... the Vred's almost look worryingly cheap when you see the difference between the price of those and the usual suspects.

I never really tend to scrimp on tyres, having a tendency to "drove it like stole it" means that I want to know that the black bits on the corners are as good as they can be ;)

Just been out and purchased a can of tyre weld and a battery powered compressor, just wonder what pressure I should be putting in the Contis

Sure will do, both my rears are basically completely worn out so I'm hoping for a much nicer ride.

Off for laser four wheel alignment/geometry in the morning as well ;)

Don't forget to report back on the benefits - i'm particularly interested if road noise is any quieter?

I just changed to Eagle F1 A2's on my E89 Z4 (35i). The different is significant. Much quieter, much grippier and much less unpredictable, especially in the wet :)

I'm wondering this, too. One of the big things I've noticed since changing is that turn-in is a loft softer, presumably because of the difference in sidewall construction.

This might sound like a bit of a stupid questions but do you have to notify your insurance company if you change to non runflat tyres

If you want to be 100% thorough, ridiculously safe etc etc, then go ahead. But 99% of insurance companies don't consider changing tyres as a modification. I didn't bother telling mine, as several people have called up and said Admiral don't care.

I've experimented on my 335i. If you put them at the same pressure as RFT's were, the car feels wobbly, flobby and unstable. I think i'm running about 44 rear and 38 front and it feels fantastic - so much grip, and damn near the same feedback as the RE050A's which was very surprising!

Is that on 18's or 19's?

Those are mental high pressures, shocked you have any grip at all
