*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Post 8202 is NOT a deal and just drags up something that we'd all stopped posting in here about.

And Speed, my problem with you is the fact that Neil dragged this topic up again and then you go and blame Martini and tell him to get over it.

Me? I've tried my best to get this thread back on topic, it is extremely useful. Last thing we need is a mod to come along see all the rubbish and close it.

I asked Martin to drop it, he isn't the only offender I'll grant you, just the one I saw at the time and the one that kicked up all this fuss to start with. All the post today have been about the Origin thing, for the love of god, just stop posting about it and move on.

Amazon doing 25% off tomorrow :D

Excellent, that Amazon UK?

Na US I believe, but like before a lot of them are steam keys/digital download so all you need is a fake us address and a legit email. Credit cards have to be real ofcause.

I've done it before with Stronghold Kingdoms

Btw speed email

There had been 30 odd posts that had nothing to do with Origin until Neil's "Oh my god we got away with it and best of all we may be able to do it again! :D:D:D:D" post.

Yeah the only thing that puts me off is I think both my banks charge for USD transactions, or at least they did with kickstarter.

Guys, we all enjoy a bargain, we are all in this thread because we spend money on games, I missed out on the origin glitch but I would have had no hesitation in abusing it had I had the chance. Chances are we as a group of people spend far more on pc games than most people, so lets not villify the people that did take advantage of it.

What's it matter that we spend more money on games that most people?
That in no way shape of form gives us the right to abuse exploitations.

What type of justification is that?

I'd stayed back out of it till that blinder.

I'd also hope I wasn't spending more money than the normal person, given I pay a pittance for my games, I have 186 on Steam and about 18 on Origin, I've barely paid anything as far as I'm aware :p

Personally I purposefully didn't use the Origin glitch because I don't want to ever have to reinstall the cack POS that is Origin :p

Hopefully this can thread be brought back on track. Apologies if I'm not exactly helping with that atm. Who knows, maybe my Origin flaming can take it in a different OT direction :p

The justification is that we are contributing more to these software companies than most people, so I dont have a problem with people filling their boots.

Im the same as you, ive got about 200 odd games on steam and have bought most as bargains, but we are the lifeblood of the industry, and a lot more valuable than people who dont buy cheap, but just steal instead. Origin can take the games back anyway if they wish, so its all moot.

So, does this right apply to more than games then?

I've bought a lot of hardware (Far more than the average person, and I buy high end) can I steal my next CPU or GPU?

You now see why it's an absurd justification.

BRB, going to the garage to fill up my car and not pay. What? I've spent plenty on petrol over the years!

Dark Souls P2D Edition for £14.95 on Zaavi mega monday deals   amazing price & a great game ;) its also Steam registerable as Namco made all keys register on Steam but TBH do not bother just stick to the std GFWL DRM it means no need for Steam running in the background when you play the game ;)

Ordered, thanks :).

Let's just drop it guys.

You clearly disagree with each other and the thread has been derailed enough.

Hell, even Neil79 is staying out of it and he's normally not one for backing down :p

Not the same whatsoever.

Anyway has been stated, Origin will easily be able to take back the games if they want, people are not buying (or not buying) the games, they are getting a licence to play them which can be revoked, I would suggest leaving origin to sort it out rather than getting yourselves worked up about it. ;)
