This. I thought Kye sung Bonnie Raitt brilliantly (because that is the original and best, followed by Bon Iver then Adelle covers, in that order
). MK1 keep claiming they are "underground" and "urban" but really, on a show like this, they are not. I don't see people who are truly into urban and underground watching xfactor or voting. It's kind of a joke to claim they were even that genre.
Because certain 'acts' were invited to enter the show. I think it was reported that 6 (could be more) of the finalists were.
Not a fan of Lucy, dull and boring (both vocally and to look at tbh).

As far as I know this has always happened.
You have to ask why these acts are always interviewed outside while queuing - they can't interview all 10,000 +.
It's all BS really, Only Ella has the actual talent to possibly make it out the in the real world. The rest will just disappear, I mean is there room to another boy band? James isn't creative and Lucy only seems to b-able to churn out the same type of song over and over. Pretty sure all including Ella are doomed after all this is over.
Sorry, but what a load of twoddle. James isn't creative? Did you see his versions of Tulisas Young and mary J Bliges No More Pain? Great interpretations, and better than the originals. No talent to survive in the real world? Another nonsense comment considering he is certain to get a record deal whether he wins or not.
And no, im not being argumentative for the sake of it, I just genuinely think he has an amazing voice and bags of talent.
James certainly has talent, but then so do many other contestants. The problem is their commercial appeal.
IMO, apart from Ella, if Matt Cardle was in this year's show, he would win it. However, as we all know (2 years down the line), in the "real" world, he never made it.
In showbiz you need a lot of luck, being beautiful may help, as does talent...but the most important thing is the luck factor and also the commitment of a big record company to market you and your music.
I think James is very very good, though very depressing. Even when he smiles he looks sad and depressed.
Is there any more space for yet another boyband...maybe. If One Direction (who IMO are terrible) have made it big, why couldnt another boyband?
