*** The Official Samsung Galaxy Note II Thread ***

Been into Phones4u today and been offered this contract: £36pm on Orange, free Note2 16GB, 900 mins, unlimited texts, 1GB data. Any good? £5 more than what I pay now (currently only get 200 mins however), but at least I won't have to pay £269 for the handset like I did when I bought the 4. Plus, I've got a buyer waiting for my 4 for £200 :)

SO if I were to buy a Note2 (that is LTE capable) it would be best to do it now before the extortionate EE 4G tariffs arrive? Presumably, I will be limited to 3G only?

Get on MPD. Same price, ult texts, ult data, 2000 minutes and a free handset. Tmobile

Thanks, I saw that but forgot about it. Are TMobile any good? Shame the unlimited data does not allow tethering :(

And most importantly, white or grey?! :D

Grey all day imo!

I'm finding T-mobile and their internet a bit up and down at the moment, I can't seem to see any pattern either. Over the weekend it was woefully slow, I rang them and suddenly yesterday it was super fast (over 8mbps). Since then it goes between 0.5-4 mbps randomly. I can't comment properly on them yet, but I'm hoping I don't regret switching over. o2/giffgaff was slower overall but much more consistent.

Well I don't currently download much presently, but once I get the new phone and treat myself to some nice new headphones, I'll forever be on spotify and youtube etc. So as long as I get enough bandwidth to smoothly stream high quality then I'll be happy :)

moving thread back to the topic:

damn samsung, part of me wants to buy the 16GB version and part of me wants to wait for the 32GB or 64GB version but then I am thinking by that time, there may be a more powerful phone out...

I'm playing with the idea of buying the phone outright. Then going for the Three Ultimate Internet SIM 600 for 12 months.

But the time thats over then i'll sell the phone and cancel the contract. More 1080p phones will be out then and maybe 4G prices would have come down by then

Which will almost certainly be the Note 3, i expect LTE as standand instead of seperate models as well

GS4 surely? I can't see Samsung wanting to fall too far behind HTC in the screen resolution stakes...

Note 3 to follow with a slightly larger version of the screen of course :)

Galaxy Note III - 5.8" edge to edge 1080p screen so it's almost the same overall size as the Note II. Yes please! :D

I don't really mind the weight or thickness of Samsung phones, so I'll be happy as long as they don't try to make it wafer thin and compensate on the awesome battery of the Note II.

Oh and 32GB internal memory as a minimum!!
