Who would have thought Robbo would be the OP for this thread :p

Spec's will more than likley be Exynos 4412 Oc'd with a possibilty of 2GB Ram. 12mp camera?
Wishlist is a 800p RGB i.e. SAMOLED+, with onscreen controls. AND, a design which is better/different to the S3.

Hehe. If it has a few, what shall we call them - 'wishlist' - features, then I'll definitely get one.

I'm betting it will just be an enlarged S3 though. :(

Perhaps they'll drop the Exynos and use the S4 Snapdragon, perhaps even a quad-core variant? Surely not! SURELY.

More leaked specs: http://www.slashgear.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2-specs-allegedly-leak-in-full-27244030/

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 phablet is believed to be only days from its official release, but a Korean newspaper claims to have jumped the gun on what, exactly, the stylus-toting handset will bring to the table. The Note 2 GT-N7100 will have a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 display, so the Seoul Newspaper claims, along with 3G/4G connectivity and a 1.4GHz quadcore Exynos 4412 processor. Somewhat surprisingly, it’s also tipped to arrive running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, not the older Ice Cream Sandwich.

The screen itself uses one of Samsung’s Super AMOLED panels, according to the leaked spec sheet, and there’s an 8-megapixel main camera along with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. Physically, the blunter edges of the original Galaxy Note have supposedly been rounded off, the newspaper says.

Really interested to see some UK pricing on this. Gonna be a long wait through September.

Robbo, update first post with all the important info like specs etc. :p

I will do later tonight, I'm just away at the moment so haven't had chance to post much!

Interesting that the only two people to send the phone back in this thread both came from a One x. Is the difference in screen fidelity so large? (have only used a One x briefly myself).

If the Note II screen is anything like the S3, then no, I doubt it's really the screen being an issue. The new SAMOLED panels are excellent.

but that's always going to be the case, as it is I really don't think there is anything you can currently get that's better than the note ii

Well in 4 days you can get the Xperia Z, which is largely better.

In 2 weeks you can get the HTC One which is better still.

When you can get the HTC One, the Galaxy S4 will most likely have been announced (14th March).

So, unless the phone must be the size of the Note II, it's very wise to wait. The Xperia Z for example is 5", and the S4 could be too.
